"Alright, sweetheart, I'll come back to pick you up at the end of the day, alright?" Adhara said sweetly, kissing Adelle on the temple as the little girl clung tightly to her mom's arm, tentacles wrapping around Adhi's waist as best as they could for their size. The young mother laughed softly. "It's alright, baby, don't worry. I'll be back later, I'm not going to forget you here or anything, I promise."
Finally, after about a five minute battle involving Reena and Niita having to actually pry the baby off of her, Adhara was wiggling her fingers and departing the building to go look for a job. Adelle was sniffling softly in the corner of the daycare center, pretty brown eyes full of tears, a dog plush almost as large as her clung tightly to her chest. Her little gosling wings flapped a few times before pulling tightly against her back, tentacles clinging to the plush as well.
"Mama...?" she whimpered, glancing around as though her mom would crawl from the woodworks to come retrieve her after the grueling five minutes that she'd been alone. Finally, her tears spilled over and she started crying pitifully to herself, missing her mom, missing her uncle, missing her grandpa, and not understanding where she was or what was going on right now.

Elisabetta had been going to the same Daycare center ever since she got her new mommy and by now, she knew the best hiding spots. When she felt like running around with her shirt on, she could efficently escape the hands of the workers and continue on with whatever she was doing.
Currently, she was hiding behind a rather large potted plant, her larger tentacle holding up a mirror so she could watch out for anyone who may want to pry her out. She was completely absorbed in a challenging Etch A Sketch design that forced her to make two giraffes. The smaller of the two tentacles spun it's halo around, enjoying the workout even if it wasn't actually doing anything.
Her elven ears flicked themselves and she set the device down. Slowly, the toddler poked her face out from around the plant in search of the sad creature who was obviously distressed and when she saw her, her bi-colored eyes did a double take. Lizzy scurried up to her feet, tripping a bit on her long skirt and scuttled over to the babe before dropping back down onto her knees, instinctively reaching out to hug her to her chest.
Personal space was a foreign concept to her. Both tentacles were now free to wrap themselves around the babe, brushing up against her with their halo's. "Don't cry, okay? Your not alone. I'm here, see?"

Adelle gasped at the sudden appearance of the other person, her wings flapping and her left tentacle immediately yanking itself as far away from the other female as it could reach, wriggling irritably when it couldn't go any further, making Adelle a bit confused, if not a little scared of the new female who was clinging to her as she was clinging to her dog plush. Of course, though, her combination was making her slowly forget that she wasn't around anyone that she knew, and this girl with her pretty blue tentacles was filling the void of family she'd temporarily forgotten.
She wrapped her right tentacle around the girl and snuggled up close to her, sniffling a bit and willing herself to stop crying. She wriggled a bit against the other girl, flapping her small wings a bit and looking up with a tearstained face.
"I's Adewwe. Who'we you? You'we weawwy nice. Fankoo fow givin' me hugs," Adelle mumbled sweetly, clinging with her right tentacle while the other attempt to grab onto other kids to aid in dragging Adelle off the other girl. As usual, it didn't like the attention or affection; especially not affection. Though, it was rather... hard to believe that with her combination, any part of her might dislike affection.

Elisabetta cherished the immediate response of comfort coming from her. Most kids she had to struggled just to get a good cuddle, but the little girl hugged her right back. Her knees shuffled around on the flooring, dragging her skirt further down her hips until she got comfortable.
Since she was a smidgeon taller than the other, she was able to get a better view. Little wings, is that what they were?, poked out of her back and she had the prettiest hair.
Not feeling the least bit wary, she bent down and rubbed her cheek against it. Aww, just as soft as it looked.
"Adewwe? Addd-a-wee? Aa-" She frowned. Elisabetta had a thing with name pronounciations. It was unclear if this was a result of her mother's strict raising or of her own personal venture, but it bugged her that she wasn't sure what the baby was saying. Looking down, she noticed the puppy plush and smiled. "No pwobwem, Pup. My names E-liz-a-bay-ta. Chu can call me what you want."
Her longer tentacle coiled around the other's, the halo brushing up against her. It caressed and teased, ghosting over the flesh like a sweet whisper of moonlit wind. "Why were you crying?"

Adelle's little wings flapped happily behind her as she snuggled against the older child, right tentacle wrapping around the female and nuzzling against her side softly. The left one, however, continued wriggling to try and get away from the both of them, as though if it stretched far enough away it would be able to detach itself from Adelle. Every now and again, it would accidentally trip a child in an attempt to use said person to pull his charge away from the sweet female that she'd found.
The tri-breed wriggled happily in Elisa's arms when her hair was nuzzled against, and she nuzzled herself against the other quite freely, just as happy with the affection as the other girl seemed to be. She giggled when the other re-pronounced her name and shook her head rapidly. "No, no, no, not wike dat. It's got'ta 'ellllle' sound 'stead'a the 'ewwwwwe', but Adewwe can't says it right," the little girl said, giggling happily and squirming in her new friend's grasp.
"Uww, you gots a pwetty name, Lizzy," she said, bouncing on Elisa's legs. She blinked a few times, tipping her head and nuzzling her puppy plush. "Why'd ya call me pup?" she asked curiously, wings flapping just a bit. Adelle's right tentacle didn't hesitate to curl around the long one happily, the little one's hand reaching out to pet the slat grey tentacle gleefully, the babe smiling with the tear stains still on her face.
She looked up at the question, almost surprised, as though she'd forgotten she had been crying. She thought for only a moment, before giggling again. "No good weason. I was jus' sad 'cause Mama left me hewe aww awone, but I has you now, so is okay."
