I would have to say that out of all of them, Wizard's First Rule had to be my favorite. Just because it's the story that started it all, and you really got to see a Mord-sith do what she did best.
Debt of Bones was a close second for me though.

I can't choose I like all of them, but WFR I like it because it is the start of a Journey.

First Wizard Zorander >¤<
Its hard for me to choose which i liked better, but i chose WFR because in that book, you meet all the main characters and you really get to see their personality the best. Like Zedd especially (and you know i love Zedd), but with us following right beside Richard as he embarks on a journey that he knows nothing about. Even when i read it again, i still read it almost like when i read it the first time and its an amazing book biggrin
But for the least favorite, i'd have to say Pillars of Creation (of course), but i will say this: it had two of the best parts in the series, for me.
a) Zedd totally pulls off a full-scale Light Web right smack in the middle of the Imperial Order and Jagang is totally like O-M-G WTF!!?!?
and
b)Though not from Richard's point of view, you get to see Richard in the most pissed-off badass mode ever as he comes riding up and running his horse into the ground and then proceeding to compeltely obliterate over a THOUSAND enemy soldiers rushing at him with one awesome blast of lightning without missing a step.
I mean, c'mon, don't lie, those parts were awesome.

I know you didn't ask for the least favorite, but i decided to leave it cause it makes some good points biggrin

You're absolutely right, those are some great points. I also didn't care too much for Pillars. I'm re-reading the series right now to remember small details I had forgotten since it's been so long for me. I'm on Soul of the Fire right now. I had forgotten about the Anders and the Dommini Dirtch.

I'm re-reading the series and I'm on the 6th book, Faith of the Fallen. Now that I'm into it, I seem to remember liking that one best. It's the one where Nicci takes Richard back to the Old World to Altur Rang and he starts a revolution.

Personally, I really enjoyed Wizards First Rule because he is just like any other person of his time and then he starts to grow as a seeker. But i dont know thats just my opinion. biggrin

I am only on Naked Empire-not finished!-but I think Faith of the Fallen was one Terry Goodkind especially enjoyed to write; just the syntax itself conveys that. I liked WFR-DENNA ROCKED!-and FOTF...not finished, but Confessor sound good too.

Hmm... I remember reading each book and going "Wow, how is Terry Goodkind going to be able to top that? I did enjoy Confessor, the ending was just epic. The idea of wormholes and bending the fabric of reality was just awesome! I liked Temple of the Winds, too, Kahlan really grew as a person. I felt like she learned how to be human and not just a Confessor.
