Michelle ¤ Riley ¤ CartersonThe peaceful black haired teenager was snoozing away in her warm bed only to be awaken by her puppies Rizz and Mochi yelping at the door. Michelle threw the blue covers off herself and walked over to the door letting the pups out. "Hey! Someone let the poochies out please!" she yelled out the door since she could hear some sort of conversation taking place downstairs. It was probably her brothers watching some stupid sport on her dad's new LCD tv. She hated that thing mostly because she felt television warped people's minds often. As she walked back into her room closing the door, she waltz over to her dresser pushing the 'on' button to her stereo and bopped along to some song then headed off to the bathroom for a quick shower.
Forty five minutes later, Michelle was fully
dressed and finishing up with the hair straightener. Her hair was so thick that it took forever getting it to look right. Odd thing about Michelle. If her hair didn't look nearly perfect, she'd have a hissy fit with it. She unplugged the straightener laying it down on the countertop so the metal part cooled down then headed out her room and down the stairs. Just as she suspected, her brothers were all lounging around on the sofa watching baseball. Shaking her head as they yelled at the umpire's lame call, she skipped her way into the kitchen and sat down on one of the empty stools looking at her mom.
"Morning! What's for breakfast? she asked in a cheery tone while smiling down at her puppies running over to her chair. She hopped down scooping them up in her arms and sat back in her chair. Her mom was busy stirring a yellow ceramic bowl filled with some sort of batter. Probably for waffles.
"Oh morning sweety. Well your brothers have no idea what they want so I'm making waffles then I have to finish the muffins for the bake sale tomorrow. Michelle couldn't help laughing a little. Her mom was a member of the PTA who were holding a fundraiser to get more art supplies for the high school. Sometimes she wondered why her mom ever joined in the first place since she complains about the other members often.
Shrugging off the thought, Michelle pulled out her iPhone scrolling through her contacts then text her friends since she didn't feel like staying home all day long.
