The Human Genome Project was the most exciting breakthrough in human genetics in the 21st centurty or any that predated it! Geneticists from around the world collaborated to determine the nucleotide sequence for the complete human genome. This genetic map gives the location of each of the approximately 100,000 human genes composed of roughly 3 billion nucleotides.
The immense value of this knowledge provided new understanding of how all genes work, how they are regulated, and how and why they create biological molecules. The human genome was then compared to other known animal genomes (the AGP was not completed until the year 2112) to examine similarities and differences that may be useful in the creation of new genetic recombinations. The knowledge gained from these gentic pioners allowed gene replacement and other gene-therapy methods. For instance, it is known that sharks never contract cancer. When the cancer-inhibiting gene in sharks was incorporated into humans with no side effects, another serious health concern was avoided. The possibilities opened genetic engineering as a profitable, socially beneficial enterprise in for the future. It is estimated that there are more than 3,000 human genetic disorders that have been fixed by the completed works of the HGP.
Now in 2153 C.E (Common Era) scientist have nearly perfected gene manipulation and the possibilties for H 2.0's were insane. People walked the earth who could jump over small buildings, people who could run in -30 celcius climate in nothing but shorts, citizens could communicate with each other just by thinking of each other, meditative trances were enduced invoulentarily to fight any status ailement, chimera humans were walking around with tails for balance and wings for flight, humans with the minds of super computers were common and even humans made of living titanium were becoming common. Sysnthasia is now a common upgrade for all humans allowing enchanced memory and all sorts of other nifty things.

Theorectical guidelines:
1. You cannot be a shape shifter, chimeras are usually described as having characteristic of two different species but not being able to change between them. I.E you could have the senses of a snake.
2. Your brain is to be treated as a computer. Its very simple if you ask me.
3. Nothing outrageous please, dont say you've conquered death and have been around for millions of years. If anything ill allow characters maybe one hundred years old and still looking forty. I know medical science is amazing but my RP is only set about 140 years in the future.
4. Just again please be reasonable when designing your charecter, every upgrade possible isnt necessary. You can have a few upgrades but like most computers theres a limit.

Skintennas like celluar devices of the 21st century to be able to automatically "Connect" with other users.
