Since the Book of Aegis has hit the snag of not having a villain played out, here's whats going on. Chained, and Tori have opted to take the part, but since I have a hard time choosing from three really good RPers I'm going to set up a poll so that we can do this the good ol' fashioned way, by voting ^^
The guys can post their "Sample's" here of their idea of teh Villain. Her are a few things to keep in mind for the character please.
The Villain is male, is a crafter that use's dark arts, and see's every thing he does as justifiable. I drive that part home as it's harder to argue with someone that can back up why they're right and everyone else is wrong.
The Villain has the power to control other people, just as stated in the Prologue, keep that in mind as it may help you guys out. As far as Race goes, I'll excpept anything so long as he's also part human.

Unless you have a hard time choosing between the two current entries (wonder if they'll ever post them here...) then I'll step out and merely vote. If it's just tough as hell for you, then I'll whip up something to help. wink

Veldore's Draken teeth were licked lightly by his own tounge as he looked down at the Xendar girl. She had been captured in a raid of a small cavern thought to have been cleared by scouts months ago. She was found with a completed Rune Diary and what more the ordasity to be practicing enchangting.
"So please tell me your name?" Vel asked politely. He bent his knees stooping down to look the girl in the eyes. The snake on his shoulder leaned in close licking her skin to taste her emotion.
"Mayrie." The emotion in her voice was that of fear and it was palpable.
"Ahh, Mayrie... Tell why do you disobey simple laws?" It was a fair question, was it not Veldore himself who had decreed that all non Sargans were not to practice the ways of the crafters. "Is it because you hate me?" The corners of his mouth dropped into a frown. "What have i done to you? What have i done to deserve the blatant and vagrate disrespect you show me?" Was this Xendar so foolish to think that she was more important than peace?
"No-No-th- squeek" Her voice broke her answer and she seemed to cringe away from the mans gaze. She slowly crawled like a crab on its back and Vel followed her taking slow calculating steps.
"No-no-th- squeek? Well then i apologize.... How haneous of me for doing this but it still leads me to the original question." The snake on his shoulder slithered off of him and crawled slowly to the corpse of the young Xendars mother. "Why do you disobey...?" He pondered outloud as he followed the girl to a corner. Of all the reason this girl could possibly dislike him and his laws so she chose, 'No-no-th squeek'. "See i do these things that i do to benefit the world at large. People cant just go around toying with the balance i have worked so hard to achieve." He looked at a finger nail that seemed to be a little longer than the rest. It perplexed him that he could be so un orderly. He signed and continued, "Years with out war or fighting all because of the pact i struck so long ago and you... you spit on this?" Her bruised face found itself in quick contact with the back of his hand, only adding to the pain that racked this girls mind.
"Ieha!" She screamed in pain. Vel considered striking her again but it would be a shame to further scar such beauty. Then the young Mayrie tried quickly to enchant the ground under her Draken attacker. In a flash Vel's fist hit the ground and the girl felt a pain so indescribable that even Veldore cringed. The snake took its stock of intrest away form the mother and moved it to the daughter. Asking politely if it could snack while he continued his business elsewhere, Vel happily agreeed.
"See this is the disrespect i speak off! THIS IS WHY WE NEED ORDER!" As he tapped his foot the girls shaking body went limp, lifeless and cold. "I just cant stand for it." He bit into the elongated nail and made sure it was even before departing. Vol turned on a heel and went into the other room where he had been meeting with the heads of Dragon Spine and Sarga committee. "Do you see this non-sense?" He scoffed sitting down in his own chair "Peace has been my objective! Yet, these sniveling meddlers refuse to let well enough alone. In this world, in this time there is a growning unrest and a shrinking respect for what we stand for. Peace, true knowledge and most of all rule of power." He raised a fist that set itself alive with black fire. "IN MY WORLD ANARCHY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!" No one in the committee made a peep or motion to disagree, they knew the consequences as did the dead surrounding them. Veldore sneezed lightly. Then he looked aroudn the room waiting for someone to say something, he even counted in his head. Five seconds passed and no one has said anything... "Really?" He threw his fist into the Ancient Crafter next to him, knocking the mans heart into the back of the room but not before it passed through a stone chair.
"BLESS YOU MY LORD!" Every one screamed at once and in that moment Veldore felt their admiration in love. All of it leaked from the unison of blessing, soon the entire world would bless him and thank him. Or worse case scenario theyd have their hearts ripped out...
(I figured id audition anyway... Who am i kidding i love to be evil. no gramamr check sorry.)

Greyhorn sighed as he looked over the battlements at his massive, forming army.
"Are you certain this is the right thing to do?" he asked the withered old man at his side. He had held the Black Wing fortress long before him, and Greyhorn had always seen him as an advisor.
"You must remember. So long as there are disparaties in the races and in the lands, there will be war."
"But I'm making war myself!" Greyhorn said, his fist slamming down onto the cold stone. "This just... it just doesn't feel..."
"Hmph." the old man scoffed. "If you want to make paradise, sacrifices must be made. "You know this, especially as a Draken, don't you?"
"Yes, I suppose."
The aged Draken's wings closed over his chest like a cloak as he walked through the massive castle that he owned. He watched his men, Draken to the last, spar in the feilds. his hand touched the handle of his flail, a dragon's head at the end of it. He remembered the old days. When he had fought for peace and... his reward?
"GET OUT OF HERE, YOU DAMN LIZARD!"
"Dragonshit!"
"Monster!"
I saved you.
"Filthy creature!"
"We don't serve yer kind 'ere."
I saved so many of you.
"Why should I feed you?! Fer all I know, ye eat people!"
I risked my life to save you! And you don't even care!
"It is for the better." he murmured. "Bahamut, forgive me." He asked, not even really believing in the Dragon King any longer. After all, He had allowed them to destroy his pride, to destroy his hope.
"They deserve it. They deserve it all!" he roared, his army cheering in reply. He smiled and raised his flail in response and they trained harder. This was his nation. This was his people. If anyone stood in his way, he would have the mages turn their dark maagics on them, and force them tofight one another. He could feel his heart racing, the power of the Old Ways coursing in his veins.
And though he loathed to admit it, he liked it. He liked it a great deal.
((@ Neko: I'm willing to put in that Grey had human characteristics before he started screwing with dark magics, and that's where all that fantastic rasism comes from: His half-breedness. After he was infused with the Bad Juju, though, he gre horns and wings.... and forgot that his mother was a human woman, the very people he seeks to kill. That's why his paladin side fights against what he's doing, even though his currrent self knows it's 'right'.)

This one it tougher to me then it was to a decent amount of you no doubt. Kris did very well acting out a self-righteous b*****d, though I believe Tori created something with potential very similar to the greatest villains of all time. So...I'll vote after deliberating with Emma.
Though, allow me to point something out: When one auditions, grammar should NEVER be looked over. If one were to audition for a part in real life, do you think the judges would mind if you just kinda waved things here and there?
