Appearance: Doku Uruwashii
Pale and 'raven-haired' Doku's appearance is one of contrasts. though he looks thin and willowy, he actually has quite a bit of lean muscle on his slim frame, and looks almost like he was carved out of ice (which many of his subordinates have jokingly suggested he was). He is also a partial albino, which explains how he manages to have such pale skin when his hair is as dark as midnight, and is also the reason for his 'red' eyes, which are actually pink because there isn't any pigment in the irises. He dresses simply and elegantly, wearing the standard captain's uniform, with his sealed zanpakuto (in the form of a blue rose) pinned to the left breast of his captains haori, and his charm (mentioned in 'accessories') around his neck under his clothes.
Personality: Doku is, in a word, cold. No has seen him smile since he achieved captaincy, and he does not, apparently, become angry. This fact has earned him several nicknames, 'The frozen flower' among them, though though no-one would ever use them to his face unless they wanted "to end up like fertilizer". Further enhancing his reputation for a cold/chipped shoulder, Doku enjoys solitude and spends most of his time meditating in the garden which the rest of the 6th squad buildings are centered around.
Bio: Doku doesn't talk about himself, especially not his time as a human, though many shinigami believe that some event in his previous life is what caused him to become so removed from other people. Needless to say, he eventually died and came to soul society. Though he still doesn't talk much about himself, there are witnesses who talk for him. Within a week of his arrival in soul society, he was accepted into the Academy, and was released a year early. Not because he had any particular inborn talent, but because he was Very, Very, determined, and an extremely quick learner. He was immediately admitted to 6th Squad, where he fought through the ranks with a cold passion that was both inspiring and unnerving at the same time. Ironically, it was eventually revealed that Doku actually had a condition called "L.I.B.T" or Low Internal Body Temperature, which meant that his optimum body temperature was about ten degrees below that of everyone else. Now, this didn't change anything, except that Shinigami with ice-based Zanpakuto got a little braver when talking to Doku, because his condition meant he was prone to fainting when external temperatures got to low, and that he was more susceptible to things like pneumonia than other people. He eventually achieved the title of "Vice-Captain" or lieutenant, and there he stayed...for a few months. His rise in the ranks would not he stopped for long, though, as after only a couple of months after his lieutenancy he even went so far as to challenge the captain for his position. To the surprise of all 200 witnesses, Doku unleashed his Bankai on an unsuspecting captain who, it appeared, never had a chance. After that, no-one saw Doku with any kind of passion at all, cold or otherwise. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Shikai appearance:Shikai
Shikai attacks: If in Shikai, Mujitsu Kusabana has the ability to temporarily change it's blade into a long thorny vine when Doku uses the command "Lash out!" essentially changing it into a whip for a couple of strikes. It can also work as a 'bear trap' when Doku uses the command "Clutch!" and stabs it's blade into the ground. Doing so will cause a single thorn covered root to grow almost instantaneously out of the ground and wrap around the leg of Doku's opponent. Mujitsu Kusabana's most dangerous ability is, however a bit more subtle. Any time Mujitsu Kusabana pierces the skin, either with it's blade or a thorn, it leaves behind a pollen-like residue that explodes violently when Doku uses the command "Ignite!".
Bankai release phrase:Reveal the great dragon, Mujitsu Kusabana Kurokasai!
Bankai appearance: Mujitsu's Shikai form changes into a whirlwind of blue petals which circle around Doku before sinking into the ground and disappearing. After that, Mujitsu doesn't do much until Doku attacks.
Bankai attacks:
Entangle: Dozens of thorned roots burst out of the ground surrounding Doku's opponent, wrapping around their limbs, torso, and neck, effectively immobilizing them.
Bloom: The thorns on the roots that an enemy has been "entangled" open and reveal themselves to be blue rose blossoms. The blossoms then release clouds of pollen into the air, which covers the trapped enemy in a fine layer of dust-like pollen, drains their strength, and even sometimes forces weaker minded (or lazier) opponents into sleep.
Incinerate:After "Bloom" has been used, the blossoms explode, with the distributed pollen acting like gasoline and multiply the damage. This is, however, Doku's most powerful technique, and should his opponent survive, Doku would be forced to continue fighting with his shikai, or simply stop fighting due to the sheer amount of spiritual energy it takes to pull this move off.
Arise: a 30 foot tall blue rose grows out of the ground behind Doku, and fights for him. the blossom has 'teeth' like those of a venus flytrap on the inside of every petal, as well as the ability to 'breath' blue fire. There are also two broad leaves near the base of the rose that can be used as shields to defend Doku. they are about seven feet long and four feet wide.
Defend: A rosebush grows around Doku, creating a dome of vines that can protect Doku from most attacks. Said vines are completely fire retardant, but extremely weak against ice.
???:Though Doku is amazingly skilled, he did achieve bankai rather prematurely, and as such, his bankai is not as strong as it would be. because of this, Doku constantly strives to find new techniques and ways of using his bankai's unique abilities. This means that he will sometimes use a completely untested skill in combat "to see if it works".
Hado:
54. Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames) — Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.
63. Sōren Sōkatsui (双蓮蒼火墜, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) — Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
88. Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon) — Fires a gigantic blast of spiritual energy resulting in an truly enormous explosion.
Bakudo:
61. Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light) — Summons six thin, but wide, beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place.
Incantation: "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!"
81. Danku (斷空, Splitting Void) — Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89. This is seen also when Aizen uses it to block Tessai's hado #88. Tessai, at the time, also mentioned that it was a Forbidden Spell.
Accessories: A small charm in the shape of half of a heart. Doku wears it on a chain around his neck, under his clothes, so it's rarely seen, even though he never, EVER takes it off. There's been a lot of speculation on why the charm is so special to Doku, but the only people who have been brave/stupid enough to ask about it have been answered with only a glare that was somehow "more icy than usual"
Abilities: Nothing very special except for the fact that he has quite a green thumb. wink
