Physical Description: A small, withered excuse of a man. His back is knotted and crooked from many Turns of work with the beasts, and he is often prone to illness and severe arthritis in his joints. His hair has long turned grey and hangs in messy clumps near his eyes, not bothering to do much with it as he'll just grumble about how it'll fall out soon. Though his arms and legs seem brittle, they still retain some of the muscle he's built up through his life.
Personality: Cranky, and about as ferocious as a proddy Green. Yeron has no time for nonsense and believes the youth of today is filled with fools who spend more time daydreaming about dragons than they do working. What ever happened to good, honest work? HE never wanted to be a dragonrider, not ever, and ohh, back in his day, that was when the Holds really were something to marvel at... He'll rant and rave for as long as someone will let him, and is often prone to trailing off in the middle of it all and forget what his point was. Despite his gruff, surly nature, he's not really that bad of a guy; he's gentle with his animals and can soften around people, too, if given the right incentive.
History: Originally from Igen hold, Yeron has spent his life knee-deep in beasts of all sorts. They're his passion, and he likes them much more than he likes people. Runner beasts, in particular, are his favorite, and he can often be found in the stables with them if there is no other work to be done. Given his age, Yeron has found himself unable to do much of the tasks that were so simple to him when he was younger, and, with a few of his runners, has relocated to Ista Hold in hopes that the warm weather will help his poor joints and loosen him up some. He is a simple man and has always been that way, content with what he has and never seeking the company of a woman or a family.
This is what he claims, anyway. He doesn't seem to like to talk much about his history--perhaps he has his own dark secrets that he'd prefer to keep hidden...
