*Mere days ago, Melina had done exactly what she had said she was going to do upon making her much-anticipated return to the WIF, and that was to capture the WIF Women’s Championship from the then-champion and slut of the century, Lita. Now, the only thing that had to be done, after gaining the victory and the title, was to celebrate and name a new number one contender…*
“Paparazzi” began to blare, and the technicians wasted no time in bringing out a red carpet, and rolled it down the ramp way to the bottom of the ramp. Out steps the new Women’s Champion, Melina, dressed in an elegant black dress with a slit up each side and heels, strutted down the ramp with the Women’s Championship shining proudly on her shoulder. She stopped at the bottom of the ramp, turned to her left, and made her way to the steel stairs and climbed them. Reaching the ring apron, she moved over to the middle of the apron, where she placed the championship in front of her in the ring. She then dropped down into a picture perfect split, sliding under the bottom rope into the ring, where she received a hand up from the referee. She then picks up her title, poses for the fans briefly, then goes over to the podium standing in the middle of the ring.*
“Ladies and gentlemen, I stand before you, the NEW WIF Women’s Champion!” she announced in a loud scream. The crowd gave a huge pop for her, and she grinned before speaking again.
“Now, I know Lita has been champion for a while, but that reign of terror has come to an end, by the true Diva herself, me.” Another loud pop from the crowd, and Melina grinned again.
“Now, naturally, I’m sure Lita would like another shot at my title; if she wants one, she’s more than welcome to have it. So Lita, if you want the chance to redeem yourself, feel free to come out here and challenge me for this—my Women’s Championship.”That being said, she turned and faced the entryway with a smirk on her face, waiting to see whether Lita or anyone else had the guts to challenge her for the Women’s Championship.
