I have a scanner...but...it sucks really awesome...
i was scanning an exam i had to send(i was sick so i couldn't deliver it) and the scanner "scanned" the exam on the resolution of a picture... gonk
30 times i had to scan the diferent pages of my exam till i got the right format

Sounds like you just need to mess with the settings a little bit. Or maybe not. Who knows maybe your scanner is just full of suxor
