Harper West:
Owner of the Ghost Pearl Inn, Ms. West is a former companion of Mr. Baenare, but chose not to leave the world of Hiast when her story and transformation were complete. She is now a fairy. She lives a rather happy life now running her inn and taking care of both the locals and those new to the realm. Harper is determined to help those who are transported to Hiast start their journeys, believing it makes a good deal of difference to have some support from the start. Still she is a firm, no nonsense, type of woman who cares about others, but refuses to coddle them.
Esba Koen:
Esba is the captain of the Silk Scroll, a merchant vessel that generally travel along the eastern cost of the Tybol Peninsula. Esba is a human native to Hiast who has been at sea nearly all her life. Aside from carrying goods up and down the coastline on occasion, she will accept a few paying passengers on board the ship so long as their destination is already a part of her route. A bit chatty, and prone to boasting and tall tales, once she's got some booze in her, Esba is the friendly sort.
Castan Fraeze:
Castan is the current head of the Fraeze family, renowned throughout the province for the quality horses and hunting dogs they breed. A young man in his mid twenties, Castan spends a good deal of time in town under the guise of keeping good business relations with other townsfolk. However, it's mostly there to attempt to charm local and traveling ladies.
Kenyon Theed:
Kenyon is a centaur, and the local Herbalist. He is a quiet man with a tendency to get lost in his thoughts.
