Jieun and Kyra's Room
The room in which Jieun Young and Kyra Hamilton stay at the inn.

Kyra unlocked the door and entered, and was pleased with what she saw. The room looked homey and comfortable, and would definitely suffice for two years. She tossed her backpack on to the table, then looked at the small girl. "I'm going to go outside on the porch," she said nonchalantly, grabbing a cigarette and her plastic bag, and closing the curtain behind her, before she went out.

She leaned on the porch guard, and lit it effortlessly, blowing smoke with a smile. "This is freedom in jail," she said softly, as she enjoyed herself. Nighttime had always been her favorite time of day. It was either her time to herself entirely in solitude and privacy, or amongst others in a tumultuous environment. She relaxed as she observed her view, somewhat nostalgic of the city life. There was nothing to see here, no people or action, just gliding bats, crickets and the occasional creeping raccoon. Finally bored of her scenery and finished, she dropped the butt and stepped on it to put it out, and took a gentle sniff of the powdered white contents off her bag.

She entered the room and tossed the butt in the trash, and looked at Jieun. "You showering first?"

Jieun followed Kyra into the room. She smiled and set her backpack on the bed nearest to the porch. The room was nice and the view was satisfying. It had a small desk, a bed stand, a few chairs, a small kitchen, and a large bathroom. Jieun glanced behind her when Kyra stated she was heading outside. Jieun nodded her head and glanced back again, but the curtains were closed. Jieun smiled and spread herself across the soft bed. The blankets were surfaced with an aroma of strong herbs.

She headed towards the bathroom and looked inside, a shower bath, a sink, and a toilet. It was simple, but nice. Jieun zipped open her bag and pulled out a plastic bag. A sudden rush of cold air hit the back of her neck, and she turned around. Kyra entered the room and asked Jieun if she was going to shower first.
"Nah, you can." Jieun shrugged her shoulders and sat down on the bed. "The bathroom is nice though." She smiled.

Kyra grinned at her. "Thanks."

With an oversized T-shirt and shorts in hand, she entered the bathroom and washed off the aroma of illicit activities. The day was long, hot, and sticky, and a frigid shower felt good.

She left the bathroom in a hurry to collapse onto the inviting, comfortable bed. "This, feels good," she murmured as she lie eagle spread on the bed, feeling the sores of trekking through the day with her overweight backpack.

"So why did you come to this village all by yourself?" she asked, turning over to face Jieun. "That's pretty ridiculous, being here while the rest of your fam-bam is in Korea."

Jieun nodded her head and Kyra entered the bathroom. Jieun tossed the plastic bag on the desk. It contained three "cup noodles", but she didn't feel very hungry. Deciding, she would eat the noodles for breakfast, Jieun slipped a pair of cotton sweats and a sweatshirt on. She always had a habit of sleeping extra warm.

Kyra walked into the room and collapsed onto the bed, Jieun giggled and nodded her head as she heard Kyra murmur something.

"Long story," Jieun laughed after Kyra asked her about the village, "But not my entire family is at Korea." Jieun smiled. "I have a Chihuahua; he's being shipped in tomorrow." Jieun frowned as the thought that Kyra might not like animals crept over her.

"I hope you don't mind. I could always keep him outside though." She forced another smile, but she was dead tired.

"Well, I'm sure tired," Jieun yawned, "we should get some sleep!" Jieun pulled the sheets out to get rid of the neat tucking.
"Good night."

Kyra hid under the covers to muffle a groan as she mumbled good night to Jieun. "You could have mentioned that before..." She mentioned before she began dreaming...

"Order in the court! Order in the court!" The small figure of Jieun stood tall and high atop several pillows atop a small metal stool. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, and she wore thin silver rimmed glasses that looked like they belonged to my deceased grandmother. She peered down at me on her pillows as she began banging the podium with her hammer, though she looked like she was enjoying it.

"Order! Order! Order! Do you plead innocent or guilty?" She glared at me as she thumbed through several pages of what looked to be a guidebook, but I wasn't sure.

"I plead innocent, I didn't do anything." I denied adamantly. I wasn't going to go through this without a fight.

"Bring in the witness!" Jieun declared as she motioned to Justin. "You'll be sorry!"

I watched him leave the room, wondering what he had to with my case. I watched him leave, and enter with a 5 foot chihuahua, walking on it's hind legs. It walked beside him in a calm manner, until it decided snarling at me as it stared at me. Those black beaded eyes look like they belonged to some sort of demon. It snapped it's jaws; I think it could read minds. It then sat in a dog-like fashion beside Jieun.

"Chichi, tell the audience what you found in her purse." Jieun demanded, after tossing the dog a dog treat. The dog barked in response, and Jieun nodded as she listened to every bark. "I see, I see."

"Where's my lawyer!" I stood up and demanded, but nobody was listening to me. Everyone began hooting and yelling as it pulled out my purse. "You can't take that! You haven't legally confiscated it!" I tried to race over to the dog with intentions of strangling it, but my mother and faceless father and held me back...

ooc; Sorry about the vocabulary, lol, studying for a vocab final tomorrow.

Waking to the unfamiliar morning sounds of nature screeching outside the window and the most peculiar dream, she sat up. It was beyond sunrise, and her day had an agenda. Laziness was beneath her, and despite how much effort it would require, she needed /something/ to do. She dressed with with alacrity, prepared to start the first day of a bucolic lifestyle she was being subjected to.

Hoping she was it was with acumen today, she wore a gossamer outfit, hoping dressing in an ethereal fashion would be more appropriate for the weather today. the miserable weather yesterday. The day looked pleasant, but weather has a way of having legerdemain. Hoping the refulgent sun would stay true to it's appearance, she began her departure.

Realizing Jieun would wonder, she grabbed a pen out of her backpack to scribble a note for her to leave on the nightstand.

Going out to the beach, it's about a mile up the road and you should see the sign for it, we passed it on the way here.

She nodded and left the room.
