Personality: Rikki is a bright spirited Kirin and tends to do his best to be a good brother, son, and now father... though not to the point of being untrue to himself. He has a protective personality in general, though it shows more around his younger siblings and his children. Though he is usually a gentle and playful soul, he does have a bit of a temper, particularly when he's "defending" someone (whether they need it or not). He has a rather flirty nature among the ladies, and while he is an honorable sort that's not to say he would be the type to devote himself to a single mare, though he's also not likely to take more than two or three mates (if they'll have him). He had tried to be a good vegan, but he is an omnivorous Kirin with some carnivorous tendencies and every once in a while sneaks off to have a "snack".

Personality: Although a Sylrin, Harbinger holds no ill will toward any Kirindae for their dietary habits aside from the Kirkani. She can also be suprisingly violent when the situation calls for it; being a lone Kirin since just before she actually reached adulthood, and before that the lone female in her 10 member herd group aside from her mother, she can be somewhat volatile when it comes to defending herself. And she doesn't tend to take crap from anyone, even playful teasing. She is kind-hearted, though, if rather rough around the edges, and she can actually be very sweet if prodded correctly. She just has some issues with stallions, particularly if they have a pushy personality. She also has a large soft spot for foals.

Personality: Energetic, fiery, charismatic, and more than a bit mischievous, Nyhali bears the colors of a bright sun as well as the glory of the night. Outwardly fearless, if not always inwardly, this outgoing girl can usually garner some humor from any situation... though that humor is sometimes a bit dark. She'll freely flirt with an attractive male but don't let it fool you... she likes to play hard to get even with the ones she's taken an honest shine to. While she shares some of her father's omnivorous tendencies, she tends to be more of a Pryrin by preference, and while she would never dream of killing a fellow Kirin she does tend to n** playfully at friends and family... and a little less playfully when irritated.

Personality: The OC he's based on is basically a death god... or rather the beast form of said death god. Macabre is not good nor evil, nor malevolent, nor volatile, and only violent with due cause. He is beautiful... repulsive... fascinating... terrifying... inexorable. He is death and the ultimate representation of the appeal, and fearfulness, of the unknown.

As far as his place in Aerithe, he was wild born but when his be-winged mother saw his deformed wings and foot she abandoned him, thinking it would be difficult to take care of him and that he likely had other less obvious defects. But he didn't, and he survived mostly on his own for a while. However he got caught by some humans who didn't want to destroy him because he was, after all, a Kirin. When he grew up otherwise healthy and didn't seem to have any more difficulty walking with his oddly shaped paw than any other Kirin they decided to try and train him for battle, though he didn't take to his handlers well. One night the coastal town he was being held at got struck by a very severe storm and it opened a gap in his enclosure and he ran for it, and now he's wandering around more Kirin friendly lands trying to figure out how to be a proper Kirin again. o.0 But yeah... he's omnivorous out of practicality, but he prefers meat by far, and while he's not honestly a Kirkani I suppose he might fall into the category simply because he'll not pass up a free carrion dinner if he's hungry just because the corpse used to be a Kirin. His past may not lend any love toward other Kirindae to his attitudes, but the only Kirin he honestly wants to kill is his mother... as far as everyone else is concerned, he is relatively indifferent unless given a reason to be otherwise.

Personality: A coloration theme that originated from a pet I won in a gem stone event (spectrolite) and wound up combined with another OC concept. Shinzui is a creature caught between two worlds, the living and the dead. Either that or he's quite insane. Even he himself is not entirely sure, but he has come to take the whole thing in stride rather than become insane in truth and not just in supposition. Whether he speaks to the living, dead, or just hallucinations, that is simply the way things are for him.

For the Kirin version, they are hallucinations, some of Kirin he's known and some not. They mostly keep him company or give him advice... even if all it amounts to is him talking to himself. He rarely speaks to them around living Kirindae (at least when he knows they're living Kirindae) just to avoid the hassle of questions and ridicule.

To make the point, he is not certain that these "spirits" are just hallucinations. They are very real from his perspective, and he just accepts that they're there, and often his only company. Short of the Goddess herself appearing and informing him of the fact, he has no way of knowing for sure, and he can't be certain, at least initially, if any new being he encounters is a real Kirin or one of the fake ones. So he treats them all politely, if a bit distantly, which doesn't always put him in the good graces of potential new acquaintances. Nor does the fact that he's strictly a Pryrin, even if he would prefer otherwise.
