Hello all. I'm new here, so sorry if this is already posted.
I'm looking for awesome places to go hiking in the USA. I live in NY and I don't mind going to other states (as long as it's not too far, like on the west coast). Also, I don't mind hiking for days and days! So it could be a long trail! That would be more fun.
And, I LOVE mountains. The taller the better, of course. Any experience level. (the hardest would be fun)
So tell me all about where you hike! I must know your hiking adventures! <3

Since you live in New York, I'd say go see the Catskill Mountains and visit the original site of Woodstock. Those two places would be great to see. However, there are many beautiful national parks and state parks throughout the U.S. that you could visit.
Have fun!

Just be sure to be careful with mountians that require expert skill level. You may want to tackle smaller mountains before trying the bigger ones. Just be safe.

I have been all over the Catskills and have visited the little hippie town of Woodstock. I am returning there this summer to camp out for a week or two. I can't wait!

XCurlyHeadX ohhh mannn do I reallllly want to go to Colorado. I need to be 25 to rent a car. I'm almost there. Then I'll fly over there and visit EVERYTHING. Its gorgeous. There are hiking trails anywhere...literally. Or at least in Colorado Springs. There is a creek running behind where I live, and it goes for miles with a walking/bike trail next to it. I got to Garden of the Gods like at least once a month. And if you're really fit, and plan on spending a fair amount of time here. You can grab a partner and hike/climb Pike's Peak. I'd wait at least a week to adjust to altitude first, I got altitude sickness at 10,000 ft. the peak is 14,000 (roughly).
