 Serenity sat at the edge of a clearing in the forest, staring longingly at a pair of birds twitering at the top of a tree. How long had it been since she had been able to get so close to nature without harming it? Years, she reckoned. Yet here she was, staring longingly at the creatures that had the luxury of something as simple as resting in the shade of a tree. She thought for a second that she must be masochistic, then laughed aloud. Yes. Her, the peace lover, the one who saught out the path with the least amount of conflict or pain, the masochistic one. She got up and stretched, leaving a layer of frost and dead grass where she had laid upon. She still did not have full reign of the coldness within her, and until the day that she did, she would avoid all form of nature that she could harm.

Keanu walked on a forest path, heading to a clearing he knew to be there. It had been months since he had last seen his love, and he could feel his feelings growing soft as the grass around him. If she did not appear soon, he knew he would move on without her. Despite this sad recollection, he has a smile on his face. There must be a reason for everything happening, so he mustn't let it get him down.

Wandering to a small boulder just to her left, Serenity lightly lept into the air and landed atop it. Sitting down, she felt a warm breeze caress her face. Well, everything felt warm to her now. The breeze might just have been cold for all she knew. Sighing, she gathered her composure and sat very still, beginning her daily meditation. She had chosen this spot to do so for two reasons. The first was that the tranquility found in this clearing was unparalleled. The other was that the placement of this rock was such that Serenity was able to relax without having to worry about harming any of the surrounding plants.

Keanu cocked his head to the ground as he saw a small path of frost along the ground. He wondered if his daughter could have done it, she did enjoy ice, but she would hate to be out at this time of the day in this season. Intrigued, he followed the path until he came across a girl on a boulder. She appeared to be deep in thought, so he sat down quietly.

Serenity stiffened as she felt the presence of another draw near. Opening an eye, she saw a male sitting below her, just a few paces off. "May I help you?" she asked. She wasn't sure of his intent, and didn't want to confront anybody hostile. If he made any threatening gesture, she would take off.

Keanu slightly tilted his head to the side, and shook his head. "Not really, I'm just fine." He sighed, it a mix of emotions of itself. He didn't want to be rude or anything, so he would just sit their quietly until if or when she wanted to talk.

"Oh. Ok, that's good I suppose. I mean, it wouldn't be good if you weren't fine." Serenity replied, looking down and opening both her eyes now. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you here? I thought I was the only one out in this area of the forest. I don't recall ever seeing you before." Serenity relaxed a bit, not sensing any immediate danger. On the contrary, the male seemed nice enough. "My name is Serenity, by the way."

Keanu relaxed some as the girl spoke, she seemed very kind. "I was just looking for this clearing, as I had remembered it being here. I am usually by the beach and the sea, so it has been a long while since I was here. My name is Keanu, nice to meet you Serenity." He wondered why she was there as well.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Keanu." Serenity leapt lightly off the rock and landed a few feet away from him. "I have never been to see the sea before, is it as big as the stories tell?" Serenity studied Keanu as she spoke, taking in his odd pattern on his body. It was very unique; as far as she could tell, none of the other Namir she had ever met had anything like it on their bodies.

Keanu nodded. 'it is as endless as the sky.' he said as he glanced upward. there were only a few clouds in the sky, and he looked back down at the female. she appeared to have a unique power about her; he wondered if she was a pokemir as Rilminia was.

"It sounds like a wonderful sight to behold." Serenity too looked up into the clear blue sky. Her gaze lingered on a large white cloud for just a second as she thought of how nice it would be to visit the ocean. She lowered her gaze back at Keanu. "Are you headed anywhere in particular today?"

Keanu shook his head. "Only to the clearing, which is not really anythign special." He laughed lightly. "If you'd like, I could show you the beach?" He hadn't been there for a while now, and it sounded like a nice way to spend the day.
