I'm posting this just because I felt that everyone needed to know about such places existing.
Last night after work I was driving north of Boston, looking for some place to have dinner.
I came upon a place called "Lucille's Fine Chicken" which I assumed would be a soul food restaurant full of southern goodness and red velvet cake.
I was wrong
Lucille's Fine Chicken is a diner... with only one menu selection.
This is food.
You get the customary bread, then the starter is pasta in red sauce, followed by roasted chicken, Belgian fries and a mixed green salad in Italian vinaigrette.
All that for 11.95 per serving, per person, cash only.
AND NOTHING ELSE
AT ALL, NOT EVEN DESERT
They have a full bar and make a very very nice roasted chicken, even though the what meat was a little over seasoned, but the portions are very generous even though the selection is spartan.
It is officially the most unique dining experience I have ever had.
