Check it out!Some things I've noticed: Just thought I'd tell what I've thought of the anime so far for those of you wondering what's it's like and if it's as good as the older anime. Don't worry, I won't spill any spoilers.
The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the artwork is. It has a much more softer look to it and the colors are usually more subtle, but occasionally change to bright and cheery to lighten the mood. It does seem a lot darker than the original anime. Some of the characters, especially Armstrong, are scarier. I mean, seriously, his eyes creep me out xD.
Since it is based more on the manga than the original was, it has been going at a faster speed. Some parts of the series that were longer before are now usually gone through with only one episode, and with not as many details. Also, some details are changed, especially with their past, but you'll get to that soon. And don't be scared when you don't remember the first episode happening before, since it hasn't. I also have to say that I simply adore the opening and closing themes. The opening brings me to tears with how beautiful it is and what a great song choice they've made. The ending is just downright adorable.
I would definitely recommend that all of you at least try and watch it. You'll see what a wonderful job they've done with it and I hope more great things to come from it.
