Narhari had little time to actually relax and do nothing in the pride he called home. Normally he spent his days keeping the pride in knowledge of the land around them. It was vital for if they ever happen to be invaded, or something to that sort. Where they'd know the lands, and their invaders wouldn't, giving them the upper hand. He loved exploring, so his job wasn't very tedious to him. It gave him opportunity to see places he wouldn't have if he hadn't came to the pride.

Though, he also enjoyed what little time he had to be in his pride. He walked around slowly. He was slightly intimidated to get into conversations with most around here. Being away for a while made it hard to get comfortable with those in the pride. But he could at least try, start small, and work his way up.

While the pride was set in a hussle and bussle all about him, Li'a spent his moment in the throes of sleep. With gold rimmed paws covering his face, the cub snored lightly in oblivion to his surroundings. What concern was that to a still tiny cub? In the meantime, he'd dream of such adventures that all the adults seemed to have. Being brave protectors of the family! It was a vivid enough dream to make his muzzle turn in a grin, and his tail flicker in delight. Someday....

Fuzzy ears gave a small twitch. Hm, was that the sound of mother's footfalls? Sleepy but so curious, Li'a peeked open one tired eye to investigate.....lazily.

Narhari knew that some of the pride's females had cubs recently. Having seen one green and yellow cub already the last time he had stopped in for a pride visit, to talk to the leaders of the pride to tell them what he had seen, and such. Though, that was the only cub he had seen, until now anyways. There was one, rather comfortable looking cub. Asleep in his own little world. It was cute. Cubs were adorable, and eventually one day he'd want to have a little of his own. But now, that seemed impossible.

For one, the lioness he fell for was in another pride. It was hard to accept, but it is what had happened. He moved towards the cub, as he saw him open an eye lazily. Perhaps the cub would be a good start getting to know them. At least then more then just the adults would know who he was, and his job in the pride. He wondered how many other cubs would eventually become a navigator.

A grown lion!

Alertness overtook his fatigue and Li'a bolted to his paws. This lion wasn't mother or his siblings. Enough reason for him to take caution. Bristling his lanky back and twisting his tail, the cub glared at the adult male. Not much of a threat coming from a weak cub, but it was the only defense Li'a could play. Huffing under his breath, the boy examined the other. Just who was he, and why was he coming here?

Before he could utter a warning though, the cub scrunched out a sneeze. Darn his sensitive body! A sneeze was all it took to blur his vision and distract his focus. Not good...not now! Li'a narrowed his eyes despite his tickling nose. What now?

Narhari couldn't help but to laugh. "My, You look like you'd be a good guard when your all grown up." He said ignoring the sneeze the other had done. At least not admitting to him that he saw it, that was. Narhari was nothing to be afraid of. He couldn't hurt a fly. Unless someone was trying to harm a child or a female feline of any sort, he'd have to then hurt the one doing so, but other then that he wasn't a fighter. No, no, He tried to stay far from that stuff. Which was probably another reason he was a navigator. He helped the pride, but not in the physical way. "I'm Narhari" He spoke to let the cub know that he was friendly. "I'm one of the few navigators." He told the cub his rank as well.

Narhari didn't know if there were other's in the pride that were like him, for he'd never seen another one. But if their were, it was because they came back at the wrong times to actually see others. He smiled down at the cub and took a seat in front of him, facing the cub.

Eyes blinked passed the tickling sensation and Li'a twisted his tail at the others words. "Really? Ya think so?!" A guard, how cool would that be! The tension left his body as the cub thought of such a title. Sure it wasn't a fighter, but it was still something to be proud of. Tilting his head, the youth repeated the others name. "Na-ra-hari, yeah? I'm Li'annam....er, the cub."

His eyes glanced left to right, curious where all his siblings went to. Oh well. Shrugging to himself, the cub continued the casual chat with the adult. "Navi-gator? Oh, what's that?" o.o He'd never heard of that job before, was it super important?

"Yeah, you got the ears to hear someone coming from far away." He said with a smile. It was always good to notice the small things a cub could do, and say them. It made them feel better, or at least it'd make him feel better if he was a cub and getting complimented on adult stuff. "Almost, but you can call me whatever you'd like." He laughed. He'd never really thought on how hard a name could be pronounced, and this little guy had a mouth full of a name too. "I'm sure in no time, Li'Annam, that you'll have a great title in this pride." He said confidently.

"Well, a navigator is someone who knows the land, and helps the leaders of the pride in case some tries to attack us. See, it gives us the advantage to know the land better then the attacking foe." He told him. Narhari was proud of his job, even if others thought it was stupid."See, without me, It could prove difficult if we get ambushed in parts of our land that we hardly go in. So, I make sure that everyone knows every inch of land and detail." Which was easy enough for Narhari. He could remember the details of an area better then he could remember another's name or face.
