Ashrialto murmured to himself as he wove through the dark forest and into the sunlit plains. His grand father often talked of the land he was born in... Things like 'buildings' and 'training' and 'paddocks'...
Ash took to such stories well. He liked the code of honor his grandsire stood for. A code for common conduct as well as warfare, for though Sibalto's movements were graceful as a dancer's, they were for battle.
And every Knight needed to know such things. As he needed to know to fight for Honor, and Truth... As he needed to know to protect damsels.
Which would be a lot easier of Ash could bring himself to talk to damsels.. But sometimes he treated them like a sister, and sometimes he just fell over his words until it was better he ran away.
"It can't be that hard!" He was muttering. "You talked to Alaska.. Granted, she's a little spikey and that got your back up at first, but you still talked to her.. It is POSSIBLE..."
Perhaps he just hadn't met a lady worth talking to yet... At least, not one worth considering beyond a fair acquaintence or a sisterly status... Not that he had any sisters, perhaps that was part of the reason he was the way he was? Kaishara and Masque weren't blood relative, after all, but that didn't really matter, in the end.. They were still family, of a kind.

 Tejina had just touched down as she as she folds her wings to her sides. She likes to fly but is cautious when it comes to flying as she looks about on the plain the sun lit it up so nice and the grasses looked great. Tejina shakes a bit is it something she does after each flight she takes. It is just something she does.
She heard the sound of hooves but it was soft and full of grace. This interested her as she looks about. Tejina sees a Blue Stallion. Her timid and shy self starts to show as she isn't sure what to do so she lays down and nuzzles the ground with her nose but she stands out in the green grass

Ashrialto wound his way around and through the trees like a great cat, his strides shortening with the tight turns. His mind danced from subject to subject, his friends and family and the Kiwani maiden that they all lived near. It had been some time since he'd gone wandering, and longer still since he'd done so with company. His best friends since foalhood were quite busy with their lives, which was a shame.
They'd had so much fun, once upon a time.
"Perhaps I'll call on them anyway." He hummed to himself, leonine tail lashing from side to side.
It would be interesting to get the group together... Even if it was just for a race or few shared stories, a swim or something similar. They'd always been able to find something entertaining to do, even if it was just strolling through the woods.
Drawing to a sudden stop, he blinked in surprise at the golden-paint Alicorn mare that was laying in the grass. "Oh, pardon me, My Lady."

Still showing her timid and shy self. Tejina slowly looks up seeing the Stallion was closer. She stands up quickly and moves back away from the Stallion. This displayed her shy nature as she bows her head to him. His voice was nice. She was a soft spot when it comes to listening to other Soquili talk. "Sir. I am no Lady. I am Tejina Suki." Her voice shy and soft. Almost to a whisper as she looks away from him. Her shyness shows a lot and it gets the best of her.
Though she wants friends. It is hard for her to feel comfy even to feel free around other Soquili. She looks at him more. "And your name Sir?" she wonders still talking is a soft low like whisper. Her nature is a gentle one and her actions state that loudly and that might just be the only loud thing about this mare.

Ashrialto shifted slightly, inching closer with careful steps. He moved slowly, unwilling to frighten the mare as she already seemed skittish to begin with. The bow she offered him made him hesitate, curling one foreleg under him and offering her a deep bow in return as his tail flicked from side to side. The argument made him tsk softly.
"All females are ladies." Ashrialto argued, softly stubborn in his belief of this. "And well met, Lady Tejina Suki. My name is Ashrialto, though Ash works well enough."
He tilted his head slightly, considering their surroundings. "I did not mean to disturb you, I was just wandering. Are you too a wanderer, My Lady?"

"You can call me Tejina or Suki. You don't have to say them both." Her voice soft. She is still unsure about getting closer. She wants new friends. But that is harder done then said. Her timid body shivers a bit as she keeps her wings folded down to her sides. "Mister Ash you didn't disturb me." She thinks a bit on the wandering question as she tilts her head in a cute way still thinking about it. Lost in thought she wouldn't notice if he got closer. "Wander I am not. Lost is more like it though." She continues to think about it though.

Ashrialto considered her words for a moment, smiling faintly. She seemed stoutly opposed to being referred to as a Lady, but it was somehow endearing. He couldn't see anything patronizing or insulting in the term, but for whatever reason she reacted negatively to it. It might be something to discuss with his father, to try and figure out how avoid the issue. Just because he was raised as a gentleman to think of all females as ladies, worthy of protection and honor, did not mean that all females would reactive positively to the sentiment, apparently.
But in his mind he would consider her a lady, and he would certainly treat her like one. His honor demanded nothing less. "Tejina then, if it pleases you. For it is a beautiful name."
He keeps his tone light and earnest, sensing her hesitance. Hopefully she will understand she has nothing to fear from him, for he has never been considered fearsome. Though a wanderer and a knight, he was certainly no danger to her.
"I'm glad I did not disturb you then, I am afraid my wandering hooves have a tendency to get me into such situations... I always feel bad about it." He returned in a conversational tone, starting faintly at her admission. "Lost, is it? That is a shame. Is there perhaps somewhere specific you are thinking of going? I will do my best to advise you on how to get there." Kara Asumie Going through old RPs and noticed you tagged me on this, wanted to get back to you. Sorry it took so long, honestly had no idea about it. Anyway, if you want to continue I am open to it, and if you want to let it lie I understand. ^.^

She smiles a bit as she looks at him. "Tejina means Magic. Though I am not of magic I think my mother thought of my horn when she gave me that part of my name." She pointed out. It wasn't that being called a Lady was a bad thing. Just something she wasn't use to and whatnot answer to so it was best to have another call her by her name. Or at least that is how she saw it. "Oh I am lost but have no clue on where it is that I wish to go."

Ashrialto allows himself a grin at her soft smile, thinking perhaps he has avoided insulting her with his insistence that she is a lady. There is something like hope in him at that, perhaps things were going better than expected. For a moment he had been considering quite a spirited discussion with his family about what to do when a Lady insisted she was not a Lady. Currently his only experience with that had been with a mare who was a Lady Knight, and it was no trouble at all to acknowledge the second part of the statement so she took no issue with the first.
Females were, he realized, highly complicated.
"Magic. Well, that is lovely indeed." He offered with a polite nod. "I suppose that means you know some healing as well, yes?"
Ashrialto had not been blessed with his mother's healing horn or skill, but his brother was thus gifted. He rather believed it could be both a burden and a terrible responsibility, having such a power. Still, Tejina wore it well, regardless.
"No clue where you wish to go?" He murmured, glancing at their surroundings. "Well then perhaps you are exactly where you need to be. I would be happy to offer a few options to you if you would like a guide. The ocean is fair wondrous and the mountains are pleasing, and in the forest there are ancient oak trees and meadows alive with butterflies... Rivers to wade and fields to roll in. Many things you could do or see."
