Her life was finally coming together.
She padded out of Gomorrah lands for the first time in several weeks. She needed some air. Being a mother was tiring. Her tail swung behind her easily, her head high and ears pricked, taking in all the sounds of nature. It was wonderful to be alone. She loved her family...but she had never been a very social wolf. Part of that was due to the fact that she couldn't talk.
Tauro, her godsend of a sister, was looking after the pups with the help from a pup she'd adopted. Seiphyr, although a little cowardly, had taken his place as their little pack protector easily, smoothly. Tauro was proud of him and Gerda knew she was as well.
Her paws padded across the soft earth, a smile rising on her face. For once in her life, she was truly, honestly, wonderfully happy. Happiness...it was wonderful.

He wandered about aimlessly his tail cocked in an arrogant manor. He had really been meaning to talk to Churnabog about joining his pack- but the alpha always appeared too busy. Shame really he would have made quite the ally for the pack. He was able, strong, and willing, and above all cocky and full of himself. Maybe that was why the alpha avoided him. Because he was afriad of what Whisp had to offer. He might excite the natural order in the pack with his well - godlyness. He guessed that a good alpha wouldn't want that.
Anyways the male was off to find some fun for himself till the alpha considered giving him a chance. No use to bordering his packlands waiting for somebody to chase him off just because they were arrogant pricks.

Gerda was close to another territory; something darker and a little more sinister than even Gomorrah. It made her heart wary and her tail tuck between her thighs. Nibbling on her lip, she moved onwards, making a big loop around the land of Terror, though she didn't know it by name. Piper...she had come back smelling of the alpha once. Perhaps Gomorrah and this pack were allies...
Perhaps not.
She wasn't going to stick around and find out.
Instead, she found a stream and lowered her head to drink, aware of her surroundings. Especially when a black and white rogue strode into view. His body seemed to ooze confidence and Gerda lifted her head, uncertain on whether she should stand her ground or run in the opposite direction.

The male seamed to notice her right away and trotted over to her with a bound in her step. "Hey babe." He winked at her and sat unpolitely close to where she was. "Whats a fine lady like you doing around the RoT. You seam too nice to be hangin around a bunch of vagabonds like these..." His butt scooched and inch more in her direction. Like a dog desprite for a meal he knew he couldn't get. "But you know if you need a loyal male to protect somebody like you- I suppose I could pen you in." He mouthed a flashy smile at her and puffed out his chest in the most manly sort of way he was capible. He definatly didn't have tact, or manors for another.

Gerda blinked, lowering her ears back against her skull for a brief moment as he drew nearer and nearer. Just as she thought he couldn't get any closer, he sat down and inched forwards a little more. What a strange wolf... She raised a brow, giving a little huff of laughter. Uncertain laughter.
Babe? A fine lady? He certainly knew how to smoothtalk. Gerda's silver gaze zeroed in on him. She shook her head, then tilted it to one side and backed away and drew a line in the earth between them. Personal space.

"Okie Babe. I get what your saying." He edged himself dangerously close to the line so that his claws were just hanging over the border of it. "I know when a fine lady like you needs her space...but if you want I'd cross that line in a heartbeat for you. I'd cross anyline for you doll." His tail wumpfed on the ground behind him trying to figure out some way to get to her without her bolting away. 'Damn she was a fine lady...' was the thing that kept going threw his mind. And without thinking much on it he slowly put a paw over the line...maybe he'd get lucky and she wouldn't notice.

Gerda couldn't tell how old he was. He acted young, a little brash. Like a teen, but his pelt was an adult's and his muscles were definitely an adults. He looked good, and this was coming from a wolfess who rarely looked at the opposite gender. Not after Tabansi...
Perhaps she would be a different wolf if she hadn't been so thoroughly used. Perhaps she would've grinned at the dark male, flirted back. Instead she just looked at him, taking a deep breath. His words were calculated and smooth. She just didn't want to be swept away in a stranger's promises...
That was how Novik and Switch were born.
She slowly nodded, padding the earth with one paw. She sighed a little. Oh, what she wouldn't do to be able to talk... Well, this wolf would get used to sign language... He'd have to if he wanted to talk to her.
She saw him cross his paw over the line. She stared at it for a moment, then stared at him as if saying 'Are you serious?'.

He quickly moved his paw back nestling it tightly into his other limbs. 'Ah she noticed.' "Your a smart one babe to resist the temptations of me. Heck I wouldn't even resist me if I were you." He secretly wished there was a pool of water around so he could look at himself. It was common play with him. Ah the way his white whisps settled on his charming black pelt...and his green amazing eyes. He would fall in love and date himself if he could. But Whisp was a ladies man more then anything he could dream up about himself. If he saw a pretty lady his head would turn quicker then ever. And Gerda was definatly a pretty lady.
"You know your going to let me cross that line eventually." He flashed another attractive smile at her and dangled a paw over the line just waiting for her to let him over.

As he eased his paw back, she let free a small smile. An almost playful smile, though her heart was still bashful and hiding from him. Resist his temptations? She had to! If you didn't resist temptation... Well, you ended up pregnant. That's about the end of it. But he was quite a handsome wolf, she had to give him that...
Cross the line. Right. Her body shook with a silent laugh and she shook her head. Nope. Not right now. He'd have to earn her trust first.
She stared him right in the eye, then cocked her head to one side. Who was he, really?

She watched him laughing at him silently. Oh man did he want this girl even more now. She was resisting him- what a turn on that was. So totally hot. His tounge lolled out of his mouth for a few seconds then he caught it and sucked it back in like it was a straw. "I love you babe. And I'll love you forever!" He seamed to bear his soul openly to her as he wumpfed his tail on the ground harder. Then turned his head downwards towards the line wishing it wasn't there. Then he took a step back and made his own line. "You know you want to cross it babe...I'm hot."

Gerda watched him, her eyes sparkling with interest even as he spoke. His tongue lolled out of his mouth for a minute, but he sucked it in in a goofy manner that made her giggle, even beyond her untrusting heart.
He was cute...
And oh, how she hated herself for admitting that.
Love her forever... Isn't that what Siren had said? And she had run from him out of fear... Poor wolf. Even poorer her...
She blamed Tabansi. It was easier to blame than to take the blame yourself, after all.
She slowly shook her head, then stood up and briskly trotted away. A little niggling curiosity made her wonder if he'd follow, but she felt it was probably better if he didn't...
She couldn't afford it. She couldn't trust boys... They hurt you in the end...

SHE LEFT HIM?!!!!!!!!! Where most guys would have taken the hint. He was the type to not put one and two together. She was just playing hard to get. Oh how that turned him on all together. He would definatly follow her now. He'd give the world to her. So where it looked like he was just turning on his tail and walking away from her. He was actully going to his store of dead animals and was going to bring one to the pretty female as a gift. Females liked dead things didn't they? He was clueless in dating 101.
Ah he finally found it being quite a distance from her. Digging down deep he took all that he could mouth and ran back to her line with a wimper.

She paused to listen, hearing his footsteps pad into silence and she hung her head a little. She didn't even know his name... What he was like. His story... If he had one besides flirting...
It made her smile, a strange smile that warmed her heart. What an odd wolf.
Ah well.
She sighed and moved forwards, heading back to where she knew Gomorrah was, or in that general direction. She thought of her babies and wondered how they were doing with Tauro. She trusted her sister fully, but she worried. She was a mom.
She was so involved in her thoughts that she didn't hear him return. She wasn't expecting it. She spun and looked at him, towing a mouthful of dead...prey? Her head tilted to one side at his whine.
Was he truly that smitten? Or did he just want a quick lay? She smiled at him, still wondering about him.

Whisp lay the food down on her side of the line and stay where she had wanted him- right behind her first line. His own tail wumpfing at the one he had made earlier. He was certainly a strange wolf. Full of himself at one moment and falling over like a puppy the next. Maybe that was another reason Churnabog had passed him over for entry to his pack. He was awesome on one paw. But on the other- completly unpredictable. Not to mention reckless...which would turn off any alpha.
"I figured you were hungry babe. So I brought you all you could eat." He tryed to move another paw up past her line. Maybe he could distract her with enough food to sit next to her again.

Gerda watched with total interest as he lay his food -- his prey -- on her side of the line. A peace offering? And how long had it been since she'd eaten? She'd had breakfast with Tauro and Seiphyr, but... Her stomach growled hungrily and she offered him a warm smile, ignoring his paw this time.
She was hungry! As she reached her muzzle out and took a ginger bite of a particularly plump rabbit, her shields were down momentarily. She watched him as she ate, not hurriedly but calmly, patiently. Her tail wagged briefly and after a moment, she stopped.
She moved a paw across the line, blurring it. Then slowly, carefully, she spelled out her name. G-E-R-D-A. Gerda... Perhaps he would give her his name as well? Then they would be thoroughly introduced...
