Background: After dying in battle in the late 1700s, his soul was approached by a team of Grim Reapers. Impressed with his battle prowess, they invited him to join their ranks as a Death Angel. When he accepted, they erased his memories of being a human, and gave him the name Crispin Alexander.
His career went well for a while, until one night, when something triggered the horrible memory of his last moments of life. Assailed by the memory of the fear, agony, and hatred he felt just before he died, Crispin went off into an obsessive quest for the man who shot him, in order to destroy his soul completely. He lost much of his sanity and nearly all of his friends during this time.
In more recent years, he has been trying hard to rebuild the life he had before, but he had alienated many people in the past, and not many are willing to forgive him for his actions. Currently, he is participating in the Byako Round Robin 2 tournament on DeviantArt, no doubt in a search for a way to put his life back together.
Personality: Crispin is surly, and a poor socializer. He is also quite shy, and doesn't work well with people. He often tries to hide this with intimidation and snide remarks, which has given him a reputation for being a jerk (which is mostly true). He can be quite friendly if you get him on the right subjects, and if you manage to earn his trust, he will defend you to the last of his ability. He gets very withdrawn and quite awkward around most women.
