why yes it was 83. there were plans by several people to create a place where you're given more freedom to the comics and other art that you want to post (though whether creating a new forum or changing an old sub-forum to introduce it was still under a bit of debate). so instead of being restricted to only battle comics and items related to battle, you can now post regular comics that are not restricted to your avatar/online-identity.

so does that mean we can post whatever topic we wish in this sub-forum?
yes, so long as it is a comic (doesn't have to be a collaboration comic) or if it involves creating a collaboration of artwork (eg a single piece that 2 or more people are working on).

what other changes were made?
i turned threads that were previously announcements into stickies or regular threads. and the only threads i turned into stickies were in the critters thread (the original threads that were there). and i turned that sub-forum into a temporary archive forum until we decide where to put all the archived threads.
