I'm so mad at myself.
I didn't read the syllabus thoroughly for one of my classes, and it turns out that my final test, worth 100 points, was during our last class period. Which was last week. I didn't go to the final class, because I thought it was just going to be a regular, review-for-the-final class. Like every single other final class is in the world.
No. We have a 10 point paper due today. And I missed the 100 point final. Which means I failed the class, which means this is the second class I'm failing this semester, which means my parents are going to slit my throat, which means I'm dead.
I just want to cry. I'm already taking two classes this summer to catch up, and it's already paid for so I can't add a third; and I can't add another class this fall, because I will have a ton of stuff to do with the fifteen I have now, working, working for the TV station, and helping run a club. I'm going to have to take another summer class next summer. I'm going to scream, I'm so mad at myself...

Oh gee.
I don't really know what to say.
The teacher won't let you resit it or anything like that?
I'm really sorry, but you're only human. We all make mistakes.

Like daffy said, you're only human. Plus with the schedule you mentioned, it seems like it would be tough to keep up with anything else.

Okay, that's bs they didn't tell you it was that day. It's also bs that one test makes or breaks your grade like the rest of the semester was insignificant or something. I vote you tell your teacher you had food poisoning that day so you can take the test.
Also, if you have a full coarse load, AND work, your parents just plain old aren't allowed to be pissed your grades suffered. Seriously, that's just effed up.
