Aka-kyuukoudai walked around his 'home', which looked alot more like a science lab, with inventions scattered around the place, until he reached a platform he created to be a lift. he pushed a button and it lowered 1... 2... 3 floors and he stepped off of it. he walked into the outside world and took a few strides away from his home. he turned around to face it. it consisted of only light-powered/manufactured equipment. so many other things could be done, if some other element was used, but he was only able to produce the light element, so he did what he could.

Soya ran though the marketplace into the neighborhood. She was so happy, because she had the whole day to herself. She planned to go to the pond to play with the frogs. When she though of that she ran faster, until something hot hit her in the back of head and knocked her down.
"Ow..." She gets back up and rubs the back of her head. Soya turns around and finds a smoking rock with craters in it.
"What is that thing?" She taps it; just in case its something was in it.
'Its not an earth rock...' Soya thought. Then her eyes got bright as she picks up the strange rock with her mouth and heads over to Aka-kyuukoudai's house.
'I bet he knows what this thing is~'
She skids to a stop when she sees him infront of his house. Soya runs up to him and puts the rock down infront of him with a grin on her face.
"Hey, Aka!"

  Aka stared at his house a few extra seconds then heard his name called from his side. he turned to face... Soya. and she seemed to have something with her...
"hey there." he said, walking up to her. "what have you got there?" he asked.

"I don't know. It just hit me in the back of my head. It isn't an earth rock, like Uncle Kyuu uses..." Soya looks at him with curious eyes. "And I thought that maybe you might know what it is." She pushes the rock closer to him.

Aka looked down at it with curiosity in even his own eyes. he turned it over a few times.
"i think... we can get a better look at this inside..." he said. "this isn't my profession, being some type of gravell... but i can give it my best shot..."
he didn't pick it up, letting Soya decide if he could or not.

"Well... it was smoking when I found it. Let's go inside and find out what it is~" She bounces excited as she would be his assistant in finding out what that thing was.

Aka nodded.
"alright." he picked up the small rock and carried it inside. he used the lift to raise 1... 2 floors and he walked inside.
"this is my geology room." he pointed out. there wasn't much in there but a few magnifieing opticals and other unidentifyable creations.
"not much... but should suffice." he walked over and set the rock on the counter next to one of the opticals.

"Wow...! This room is so cool~! Where did you get this stuff?" She walks over to a map that was mostly black with colored dots everywhere. "What is this?"

"that's something i'm trying to decifer... you see, different rocks seem to appear in a veriety of different places, but not others... right now, i'm trying to locate a pattern. when i find the rocks that appear in all of the places, i'll try to look for similarities in the places and figure out why they do that." Aka said. "and, it looks like your rock might be added onto that chart."

"Ooooh!" Her eyes shined in awed, but then she felt something strange. Soya turns around at Aka. "Hum...I have this strange feeling about that rock..."

Aka looked at Soya.
"yea? and what's that?" he asked. he knew these types of feelings were something to watch for.

She turns around and stares at the back"I...I don't know. Its just that something about that rock...its almost like its calling me or something." He ears drooped feeling a little scared about it.

"so, it's some kind of rock that hit your head, and now it likes you... coincident? i don't think so." he was jokeing with her and chuckled slightly. "i guess this calls for an examination. " he walked over to the rock next to the optical.

Soya puffs out her cheeks. "You never know, Aka. That rock could be a puppy that got turned into a rock or something. And like a puppy it took a liking to me." She sticks out her tougue a little. "But I still have that stange feeling about that thing..." Narrows her eyes.

"anythings possible, right?" he chuckled a little more before gazing into the Optical at the rock. after a few minutes of studying, he looked back at Soya.
"this is an asteroid, which is why it hit your head. this kind of asteroid is called a Chondrite. as for why it gives you that feeling... well, insuficient data to make any sure conclusion..."
