LSD could smell change in the air, his green butterfly had vanished for a week only to re-appear in his eyes as a green dragonfly. He tried to will it back into it's old form but hatefully it remained a glowing green dragonfly. He rested his head on his paws while he rested his back leg. The muscles were becoming strong, much stronger, but it hurt. Pain however was something he had embraced once, and he would embrace it again to regain some semblance of normalcy.
Granted he owed it all to his sister...and yet lately he had noticed that Lithium's enthusiasm had changed. Change...how he hated it, but there was no denying that his sister was distracted. She had this look in her eyes, and sometimes he could swear she wanted time alone...which was odd since he had always been by her side. He could never remember Lithium not wanting him there with her...it was all so strange.

LSD was correct in assuming Lithium had...well, other things on her mind. Nothing bad. She wasn't plotting world domination.
Quite simply, she was in puppy love. A strange feeling for the young teen. When they were younger, Bipolar had welcomed in a strange white puppy. A puppy who claimed that he'd been on the run from danger, sent by his mother. A mother he'd never see again. Lithium had become quick friends with him.
And then, out of nowhere, he'd left. Bipolar had gone off with him, and come back alone. She said he'd found another pack. She said he was happier now.
And Lithium, she believed her. BP never gave her reason not too. Perhaps the little wolf was just too trusting. Perhaps.

"Lithi? Lithium!" LSD frowned at his sister, why was she spacing out? The dragonfly flew in little heart shaped patterns leaving green hearts swirling around his head. He growled softly in irritiation and shook his head.
He slowly moved to his three legs and stretched wobbly still.

Lithium's head jerked up at her name. Her ears flattened once before pricking forwards again. Her green gaze flickered over him, pride shining in her eyes as he stretched, using all three of his legs. She jumped to her feet and wiggled over to him, licking his muzzle. "What do you need, brother?" she asked softly, looking back quickly to the treeline.

"I don't need anything Lithi, I'm just worried about you...what has you spooked?" He frowned and moved closer to her nuzzling her neck and licking her cheek. He glanced at the treeline as she did and growled low.
"Did you see something there?" His own eyes narrowed as he tried to look past the green dragonfly while it hovered and clouded his vision.
"You don't have to be afraid Lithi nothings going to get us..." He moved to sit down with care.

Lithium frowned, looking over at him and then down at her paws. He thought she was in trouble? Well why not...she wasn't being the most supporting sister as of late. But gods, she couldn't help it... A whine nearly rose to her throat, eyes flicking back towards the treeline. Searching. Wishing.
"I'm not afraid," she said quickly. Too quickly. She shook her head. "I know nothing'll hurt us. But..." She took in a deep breath, then stood. Her usual happy demeanor was quiet today. She wanted to tell him, but what would happen then? "I can't. I'm sorry, brother..." Bowing her head, she quickly paced away, unsure if he'd follow or not.

He moved quickly through the forests, his paws treading silently. He was growing up and as he grew, he became less bumbling and more stealthy. Especially now that he had a family to protect. If anything ever went wrong, he would be there, to protect them because he couldn't count on Piper to do it.
His lip rose at the idea. He knew nothing dangerous would make it within the pack borders of Gomorrah without Piper and Hurricane knowing about it, but the thought of something happening to Tauro or Gerda or the babies...it was too much to handle.
But today...today was his day. His icy eyes scanned the lines as he paused right outside Agua Azul. He could smell the alphas' markings. They made his eyes burn they were so strong. Still, he crossed over.
He had to. It was something deep inside of him that made him.
His heart gave a little leap. He was going to see Lithi today and nothing would stop him!

LSD lifted his head and turned from his sister to look back into the tree line, his nose twitched. He inhaled deeply and a soft growl escaped from his throat, he quickly turned and wrapped himself around his sister in a protective gesture.
There really was something in the forest, perhaps Lithium had reason to be afraid after all, and he had been to pre-occupied to realize it. Well he was going to protect his sister from whatever it was, and nothing would stop him!

Lithium turned her head, looking over her shoulder. LSD was there. He was at her side in an instant, a growl rising up his throat. Her ears fell back, watching him with worried eyes.
"LSD!" she squeaked, nipping at his side.
Seiphyr said he would come, but there was still no sign of him. Surely he wouldn't stand her up. She'd been looking forwards to his next visit for so long. Every day she waited for him. She would wait forever, if it took that long. She didn't know why she felt this way, but it was a good feeling, inside.
But what if LSD stopped him from coming? Fear bubbled up her throat and she swallowed it away. She took a deep breath. Sei wouldn't come near if he saw LSD, right? Right? "LSD, brother. I'm fine. Really."

"No Lith...there is something...don't worry I won't let it get you..." He moved forward and snarled.
"Show yourself!" He watched as the green dragonfly dipped low and headed into the forest. He knew there was something there his new muscles bunched and quivered ready to spring.
He had almost died so long ago, his sisters voice bringing him back from a dark abyss, and if he had to face death again he knew all he would need was his sisters voice.

Lithium watched her brother, following his gaze to the forest. Was there someone out there? Maybe she'd been too trusting... Maybe there was something out there! She gave a small whine, pulling back against her brother, who seemed dead-set on protecting her silly little hide.
"I'm not worried," she murmured, though there was a sneaking suspicion in her gut that she would be soon. Oh, don't get hurt again, brother...

He breathed in, catching Lithi's scent on the wind. His eyes closed and his heart fluttered. Oh, beautiful Lithium... He couldn't wait to see her.
His pace quickened, trot lengthening into a lope, well-muscled legs flexing and bending. His tail was low, carried calmly between his thighs, and his ears sat high upon his head, alert and ready.
Lithium! He saw her, right up ahead!
But there was somebody there...
Her ears were back, eyes wide, mouth open. Fear? In front of her was a brilliantly pink male, his body tense and his tail high. Seiphyr gaped at him for a moment. Surely...Surely Lithium hadn't found someone else... A strange feeling washed over his heart, making him feel sad. His ears lowered and slowly, quietly, he padded up, eyes locked on the brightly colored male.
Lithi's new suitor?

LSD snarled as the male approached, so there was an interloper! Had this male been spying on his sister? Making her afraid and edgy, it was no wonder he had felt her distant.
He crouched ready to attack if the male made a move towards his sister. "State your business intruder!"

Lithium's eyes lit up as Seiphyr drew near, his body low to the ground. His eyes were focused on LSD, as if afraid he might attack.
She whined at LSD, at his side in an instant. Her tail wiggled slightly and she tried nibbling at his chin, doing anything to stop his possible attack on her friend. "Brother! Don't hurt him," she whimpered, trotting forwards boldly. Her frown turned into a grin as she rubbed up against Seiphyr, whose tail began to wag. "LSD..."
With a small sigh, she sat besides Seiphyr, placing a paw on his gingerly. She looked up at him for a moment with adoring eyes, then her gaze fell once more to her brother. "This is Seiphyr. Sei, this is my brother, LSD...He's a little overprotective..."

Seiphyr's blue eyes locked onto the bristled pink wolf. He was so uncertain! The other looked ready to breathe fire, prepped to fight... But...he only had three legs! His mind raced, trying to decide what to do. He couldn't fight... That would be a little unfair, seeing as he had all four of his limbs. But the male was willing...
Seiphyr backed up a few steps, lowering his head with a whine just as Lith padded up. Her nose brushed his and the tip of his tail wiggled slightly. Oh, how he wanted to greet her, but he couldn't risk the other wolf getting a good bite out of him. So instead, he stayed still, greeting Lith with a nod.
"Er..." He began, ready to explain himself as the violet wolf spoke up. LSD? Her brother? So he wasn't her mate? Relief washed over him and he relaxed. "Hello, LSD," he said, putting on a smile.
