Really? You have strep right? Well it normally takes about 2 weeks to get over it.

Oh you have strep? That sucks.
When I was in sixth grade, I had strep like.. five times in one year. It was horrible. gonk
Plus along with strep, I had mono and pneumonia, all within a time that was very close together... I barely went to school at all that year, and it sucked, because that was the year I stopped homeschooling. x___x;
Anyway, get better soon. Warm water + salt gargling does help a bit.

This is my first time having it since my sister got her tonsils out a million years ago
I guess I always used to get it from her?

Oh? that sucks. :/ I'm sorry.
The only person in my family who's gotten their tonsils removed was my little brother David... And he's four. I don't think he'd ever had strep throat. There was just some kinda thing going on with his breathing or something so they removed them, and his adenoids. Haha.
I'm thinking I should get mine removed, though. I get strep throat at least like... three times a year or something. Not as bad as I used to, but strep throat is still horrible.
That, and I have other things going on with my throat/tonsils, but whenever I try to mention them to a doctor, the doctor just says "oh you're fine. by the way, now you have to go to a therapist next week because we think you're faking sick for attention."

I had my tonsils and adenoids out less than a year ago I think
My tonsils were always huge

Also, everytime I eat or drink anything, even if it's water, my tonsils will start to swell after a minute or two.
And I try to tell my doctors this and they're just like "ohh well you need to calm down there's nothing wrong."

"Oh. Well we'll get you on antibiotics now."
"... y-you don't wanna suggest surgery or anything?"
"Nope. You could do without it."
"... but--"
"NO. GO AWAY."
"... crying "
