The sound of soft bells filled the air, as Melody trotted along happily. Why was she so happy? Well, she'd just recently proved herself to be a wonderful mystery solver and a wonderful dancer. Talk about two birds with one stone. She smiled to herself and the world. Everything around her seemed to spark with life as she half trotted, half danced around.
"No more boring days in the life of Melody Forté!" She chimed happily.

 Luna mumbled a few things as she walked down the dirt path. It was pretty dark outside, and she decided to take a nice walk. She heard jingling coming from the other way and looked around almost instantly. "Hello?" She said aloud, thinking it was kept in her head. She heard the jingling again. "Hello? Whose there?"

Melody instantly stopped, and her bells gave a loud ring before stopping with her. Her golden mane waved slightly as a breeze blew past, letting her bells ring out again. That time, she was sure she'd heard a voice. It sounded small, young, and gentle. Then of course, there was also confusion. Melody smiled to herself and called out in her sweet voice.
"Hello! My name is Melody Forté." She smiled and moved again, hunting out whoever she was talking to. She'd be sure to be found first, with her bells jingling constantly.

Luna smiled. This could be a little bit fun. She called back, "I'm Luna! Where are you? I can hear you but I cant see you. Of course it is pretty dark." She listened for the beautiful ringing and she followed it.
It didn't take her long to bump into the older mare, since she had a feeling that she was being "hunted" by her. She came to a screeching hault and immidiatly looked up. " Are you Melody Forté?" She asked, admiration in her eyes. The older mare had a beautiful body with the bells all around. She looked at the way her hair was styled and gawked. It looked awesome! She managed to mumble out another word, "...Wow..! She didn't say it like a disgusted rude but like an admired wow.

Melody hadn't spotted the little filly until she felt a little bump on her side. She looked behind her to see a cute little purple uni. Luna fit her perfectly, her purple coat reminded her of the setting sun and rising moon. A smiled played across her face. "Why yes, I'm Melody." Her voice was soft and kind as she spoke to the younger mare.
She couldn't help but laugh at Luna's admiration. She didn't receive that look often, so she wasn't offended by it at all. In fact, she instantly liked the little mare. "What are you doing out here? It's late you know." Melody flicked her tail playfully as she spun around to face the filly. It was late, and most young soquilis she knew of had long gone to bed, not that she knew many...

Luna smiled. It wasn't like people to ask her what she's been up to. Or how late she was out. She giggled and smiled even more.
"I'm a night person. And you? What are YOU doing out here so late?" She asked her, still smiling. Her hair was just... wow. She couldn't get over that.

Melody couldn't help but smile at the young filly's words. A night person, how totally opposite from herself. Melody preferred the sun, and it was on rare clear skies like this when she pranced out and danced. She was practicing, building up her tempo for the next time she were to dance with a partner. She hadn't always been into the whole dance thing, but it was working for her now.
"You don't look like the night type of person to me. And I'm here because I have to challenge myself, without embarrassing myself in front of a crowd of others." She smiled kindly down to the fascinated filly.

Luna giggled, blinking.
"What kind of challenges Melody?" She asked, with curiosity in her eyes. She was really embarrased. since she new the Mare had caught onto what she was admiring and blushed. "Your hair's just so pretty. Sorry for staring Miss Forté."

"You know...pushing myself to new and exciting limits!" Melody laughed, the little filly sure was taking an extra interest in herself. She felt flattered and a bit embarrassed at the same time. Then, an idea hit her.
"Hey, Luna, would you like to learn to dance? I'd love to teach you! It could teach us both a lot about dance!" She nodded, waiting for the young mare's response.

Luna's eyes lit up. "Really?! You'd teach me?" She giggled, smiling up at the amazing Soq. Her eyes sparkled. She was going to learn to dance?
" Whenever your ready then Melody!" She said, smiling still, waiting for the mare to teach her.

Melody's face lit at at the foal's excitement, she couldn't believe anyone could ever be as thrilled about dancing. "You want to learn now? In the middle of the night? It's a little late for that. However, if we sleep on it, then I'd surely love to teach you as soon as the sun rises." Melody smiled, she would love to teach her, but in the dark was not a smart idea.

Luna smiled sweetly and calmed down. "Okay Melody. But promise please." She said sweetly, in that cute voice little kids use.
She sighed softly, yawning. "Okay now I think I'm tired..." She yawned again, blinking her eyes. :Where do you live Melody?"

Melody smiled, Luna was just too adorable to resist. She would enjoy ever once of their lessons together. "I promise to teach you Luna, just as soon as we can see." She nodded her head politely.
"And I live just a few miles north, though usually I just find a safe place and snooze where ever I like." She pointed her nose toward the north, pointing toward her home, where she knew Koko and Edel must be completely stressing out.
