Does anyone suffer from cramp? I do in my lower legs. I have always thought that cramp is caused by lack of salt in the body, but are there other causes for it? It normally affects me first thing in the morning before I get out of bed. I wonder if there is anything you can do to either stop it from happening or to make happen less often.

o.O That's actually a medical condition. Asymptomatic varicose veins, I think... gonk Not entirely sure, but this topic actually came up at work one time last week or so.
Then again, it also depends. What activities where you doing prior to sleeping? What were you eating prior to sleeping?

Nope, lucky I've never had a cramp, don't suffer from 'em.
Sound pretty bad, though.

Actually, umm...are you showing signs of enlarged veins on your legs or does it look prominent?
If not, then...maybe RA - Rheumatoid Arthritis? Either way, see if you could go to a doctor to get a firmer diagnosis. 3nodding

I've never heard that getting those is a result of lack of salt...
I get them really badly, too, and usually at the worst possible times. My mom used to be a nurse and she says they're from lack of calcium most of the time. Whenever I get them I just drink a whole lot of milk, and they usually get a little better, if they don't go away completely.

Whenever I get them I just drink a whole lot of milk, and they usually get a little better, if they don't go away completely. Oh I never knew that. Well if it's lack of calcium that would explain it as I don't drink a lot of milk.
