Intro: On the southeastern portion of the town of Asheville stands a power station and water treatment facility combination. Directly behind and connected to that building is a large two story shack with a sign hung on the door reading 'authorized personnel only'. On the roof of the building is sandbag bunker with overhead cover and an M2 mount. The second floor of this off limits building is a mere eight bedrooms with two large wall lockers, a desk, a ceiling fan, a ceiling light and a broom. The bottom floor of the building has only three sections that are walled off; a kitchen dining area, an ante room with staircase to the second story, and a large open room. The larger bottom room has several tables and chairs as well as maps and data charts all about the walls. The kitchen dining area has all manner of appliances and three refrigerators that are constantly stocked by the squad. Four large tables have been connected together in the kitchen dining area so that the squad may eat meals together, if they are ever all around at the same time. Each of the bottom floor rooms has four ceiling lights in them as well a ceiling fan. There is only a single door leading into the building through the anteroom which sits in the center of the building. Though no Brotherhood insignia are present throughout the exterior of the building, it is common knowledge that the building is a garrison for those troopers.
A vertibird bearing the BoS insignia is parked in the center of the town until a suitable location can be found for it to be maintained.

Current Ops: Training - Defense drills."Since we are forward of the main Brotherhood elements it is absolutely neccesary that we be able to adaquately defend ourselves with our limited numbers and the towns people of Asheville. As you all report in I will assign you areas throughout the town that you will be in charge of covering. Once we have a few members that know their positions well we'll begin running some drills. Once you've settled into your room come see me in the planning bay on the first floor to recieve your position." Guard Positions:Squire Rahm - Special Squad Team House Junior Knight York - Mayors Office Squire Cartagan - Northern Wall/Gate Senior Initiate Land - Southern Wall Senior Initiate Joker - Eastern Wall Weapons Cache Recovery COMPLETEDDue to recently gathered intelligence Squire Cartagan is leading the lower enlisted of the squad on a quick snatch and grab mission for weapons and ammunition. ((If is problem, letting know Troll-Being deleting post. Is okay??))
Krldrsk walked up calmly into the office, the long strides of the nearly eleven-foot-tall deathclaw carrying him swiftly to the table which held the folders. He looked over the numbers, pausing at the third and smiling. Medical condition and determining the livestock would be easy for him, he had spent his entire life learning about living creatures, he'd even studied the 'anatomy and physiology' of robots to a considerable degree, and that was far from his specialty; this would be easy as long as none of the locals caused problems. He looked at Joe, wanting to ask him whether or not there was any potential risk of dangerous situations arising, but could tell that questions were not too welcome. Instead, Krldrsk merely nodded at him and stepped aside, waiting to see if anyone would wish to join him in the third task.

The ghoul looked at the man, his leader sitting behind the desk. He thought for a moment as he brought his attention to the folders in front of him. He was capable enough of a scientist, but he might have a problem communicating with the people of Asheville. He though, was up to the task at hand and was most willing to rise to the challenge.
He stood up and stretched his arms out. His joints popped loudly as he reached out into the air. He yawned through the coif and brought himself to his normal posture. He walked up beside the Deathclaw soldier. He looked at the soldier and nodded.
"If you need any assistance just ask."
He turned to the folders and plucked the second mission folder. He tucked it under his arm and made his way to the barracks. He looked back one time at the pile and turned to face the exit.
He let the door gently close as he continued on with his mission.

After the small brief, Bren approached the folders containing the assignments. The second and third were gone, taking those out of the loop. He picked the others up one at a time, reading through each before finally deciding on the first folder. With his VTOL, he would be able to draw a map easily, but the biographies would be a bit more of a problem...at least he was a good people person.
"I'm always around if anyone needs any help. I'll be in the air for a while drawing a map, so if ya need me, just radio me a holler. I'll be ready to help right away.", Bren said to the Deathclaw, but his offer was open to all. He quickly moved off after his comment to the airfield. A map was required, and a map he would provide.
[[So, how big is Asheville...or is that up to us decide? Also, do I have to draw an actual map of the town?]]

((Is anything needing knowing for RP doing? Is needing PM Aruil-Being, is or making details on own doing?))
Seeing the others take off, Krldrsk looked a moment at the squad leader before turning to exit the room. He already had his gear packed, and put the folder the same 'back-pack' where he carried his own medical supplies. He doubted he'd need them, but he was better of safe then sorry. Besides, if they were low in supplies themselves and had any wounded, it would improve their relations with the Brotherhood if he could offer aid to them. He did not waste any time to get to the settlement, breaking out into a rapid run as soon as he exited the Brotherhood base. His endurance and speed combined to make the trip easy enough. Though he knew he would be thirsty by the time he reached the base, he had plenty of bottle caps to spare on water. Plus, once he purchased the water he would be able to use the Geiger Counter he'd borrowed to gauge its radioactivity and have a higher likelihood of being able to find out how its purified. He only hoped that he would have no problems with the residents. Most people seemed to get very nervous around him, even when he revealed the intelligence he'd inherited from his genetically engineered parents. He slowed to a slight jog once he got within what he considered a reasonable distance of Ashville's walls. He waved at the guards in an attempt to show he was not a threat and continued slowing his pace until he reached the open gate into the settlement. One of the guards nervously approached him. "Uh... What's your, um, business?" Krldrsk smiled in an attempt to be friendly but, as usual, made the man more nervous. He still hadn't caught on to the reason why. "I have been sssent by the Brotherhood to asssesss what aid we might offer to your medical sssuppliesss and nutrient-production methodsss." He tilted his head slightly, "Isss there purified water presssent? I wishhh to purchhhassse sssome. I am parchhhed from my journey." The guard nodded, seemingly a little less nervous around the massive creature, and pointed to the Southeast, "There's a restaurant down that way... the Garuda.." He swallowed and brought his hand back to his side. Krldrsk looked in the direction the man pointed and nodded. "Thanksss." He purred before walking swiftly down the street and turning left at a small shop selling clothing and light armor. As he headed down, he saw the burnt-out sign for the Garuda, an advanced airship was etched into a wooden board hanging beneath the bar's name. Krldrsk stepped inside of the bar, a number of shocked people turning to him as a nervousness enveloped the rooms atmosphere, but Krldrsk smiled and tried to calm them. "I am jussst here for ssssome water." At that point, most of the people turned back to their company, though many of them still glanced at the deathclaw out of the corners of their eyes as he walked up to the bar and placed sixteen caps on the counter. "Hello human, I am Krldrsssk, an initiate with the Brotherhood. Do you have the time for sssome quessstionsss?" The bartender looked up at Krldrsk with an expression of curious interest on his face before responding. "Pleasure ta meet ya Kuldrisk, was it? I'm Don, the owner of this fine restaurant." He stretched his arm out and waved it about as though showing off the large room. "I'd love to help you out, but first, is there anything you'd like to eat?"

Jonathan walked into the room. He listened to the message and almost wanted to leap on Number 2. But he realized someone else was already reading the info. "Bah..." He quietly said under his breath. He then took Number 7. Technologics were in his DNA, and he could negotiate...if need be. De-briefing himself with the info, he left the room. He immediately started to smoke a cigar, and gathered all of his material and beginning to leave. He made one final stop-his private violin case. He retrieved it, and began on his journey to Asheville. Arriving soon, he encountered one of the guards, rather shaken up. "Hello, kind sir. Can you tell me, did you see a rather large Death Claw come this way?" Jonathan asked, his tuxedo blending in with his dark hair and bowler cap. The man nodded his head. Jonathan smiled. "Then, can I enter the Asheville?" He asked. The guard grew studier, and turned to him, now not afraid. "What's your business?" The man said. Jonathan almost wanted to slap the man and say his business was his own, but he was a delegate from the Brotherhood. He smiled and then looked at the man. "My name is Jonathan, and I am another delegate from the Brotherhood outpost that is so close to your town. I plan on talking to the mayor...if you have one." The man nodded his head, but replied Jonathan. "We don't really have a mayor, but we have a leader-his name is Martin. You can find him in that large piece of metal over there-the one shaped like a pyramid." Jonathan tipped his hat to the fellow and walked in. He continued to walk until he reached the building. Then, Jonathan began to open the door.

Junior Knight Revan Alvokerin, or "York" as he was commonly called, pushed open the door of the two-story shack, clad in his Metal Armor MKII. He carried a large pack on his back which contained his belongings; more specifically, his clothes, some ammunition, a few hundred caps, several cartons of cigarettes, a lighter, and some other small tokens. He held his Sniper Rifle in his right hand. His other weapons were in his pack.
York stepped into the building, his eyes roaming around in search of a staircase. He'd arrived a little later than most of his allies and didn't know the area all that well. He'd examined and memorized maps of Asheville and its surroundings, but he had visited only a few buildings in the town and so he knew not what his new base of operations looked like. York spotted the staircase and, after spending about thirty seconds looking around on the bottom floor, made his way up the staircase. He found an open bedroom and placed his bags on the floor. He took his Laser Rifle, Laser Pistol, and Ripper out of his pack as well as a carton of cigarettes and a lighter. He left his other weapons and belongings in the pack, deciding to unpack at a later time; after all, he was late enough already and he did not wish to anger his superior officer. York, who had led a squad for a brief time in the past before stepping down from the position, knew that it was difficult to run a squad and that, though squad members share a special bond with their commander, a commander must be tough on his men. Therefore, York expected no mercy from Aruil. He was late and he would accept punishment if Aruil saw fit.
"My sincere apologies for my tardiness, sir," York said to Aruil after finding his commander in the planning bay on the bottom floor of the BOS base of operations. "Do you have my new assignment for me?"

The shorter man of five foot six stood with his back to the door of the room as he examined a map of the town that hung on the wall. His Metal Armor MKII was unlike his MKI in that it had a brotherhood insignia on the left shoulder that had been painted over with a single layer of dark green paint. For some reason the previous owner of the gear had seen it prudent to paint the armor various shades of green with leaf stencils. Rahm didn't care for the pattern and felt slightly ridiculous for wearing it in their given enviroment. His head was uncovered as a tan boonie cap sat on a nearby desk along with his kit.
Upon hearing the squad member who actually outranked him enter the room, he turned and put up a hand with tired look across his face. "As late as you may be York, you're still the first one to show up since the official move. Currently I'm setting up the base defense plan so that everyone knows where they'll be located should the town come under attack. Which it often does. Somehow the Reapers raid on a prominant raider gang a few months back did little to cease their presence."
The young man motioned for the soldier to join him in front of the map of the town. "Since you've got quite a bit of experience with the Brotherhood and military operations in general I'd like for you to co-locate yourself with the mayor in case of attack. We'll need someone senior to help coordinate the towns local defense force. That and the mayor doesn't like the fact that I as a 'mere squire' am the liason for the Brotherhood to him. I'm not asking you to assume command, I'd just like for relations to be tolerable in our new home."
"I'd like for you to go meet with the Mayor and get an idea of what forces they have available and what their general course of action is. Any questions? OH! As you may have noticed there is no bed in your room yet. We've had some colorful characters in the squad as of late so I didn't bother putting a humans bed in a potential deathclaws room. So when you're free just put a sign on your door and how would you like your bed built? I've still got funds set aside for this."

York stepped forward and stood beside his squad leader. He nodded as his commander explained his duties. It was good to know that he'd earned some respect in his time serving and that his commander trusted him. He scanned his eyes across the map until he found the town hall. There, he knew, he would find the mayor.
"Affirmative. I'll leave immediately," York replied. "As for my bed, all I need really is a simple cot. As long as I have a place to sleep, I'll make do. Thank you, sir."
York turned away and left his squad leader. He walked along the streets of Asheville with a confident strut. Some of the townspeople shot sharp glances at him, realizing that he was a Brother of Steel and noting that they should probably stay out of his way. York soon reached the town hall, climbed the staircase in front of the building, and entered. Two guards stood there by the door. They stepped in front of York.
"I'm here to see the mayor. My name is Junior Knight Revan Alvokerin of the Brotherhood of Steel," York said.

Cartagan walked into the squads new area to drop off his gear. After which he scouted around the area to familiarize himself with it. returning to the office, he spotted two men, a quick glance told one to be Joe, and he assumed the other being York. With a quick knock, Cartagan spoke "Checking in sir, where do you want me?"

Bren entered the building loudly, mock kicking the door in and loudly yelling, "AHHHH! I am here! Rejoice comrades!" Closing the door quietly behind him, he began walking about, he found the stairway and headed upstairs to drop off his gear. Noticing several piles of gear, he thought I'm not the first one here...good!...as he dropped his stuff off and ran back downstairs.
"Heya people, what's going on.", he said, seeming overly cheery. "I heard we'd be practicing defensive drills or something. We should see if we can requisition a private use Vertibird or see if we can salvage one somewhere. That'd make these ops so much easier.", he said, taking a seat.

Joker walked in the shack, carrying nothing but a small pack that held his weapons and some armor and a few random other things- a few packs of cigarrettes, a lighter, a bobblehead, a wrench, and a bottle of Vodka.
"Junior Initiate Joker reporting for duty." said Joker, taking out a cigarette and lighting it, the thin blue-ish smoke curling around his head.
Instead of waiting for a response, Joker went up the stairs to the room, put his stuff into one of the lockers, and looked around for a bed. Spotting none, he made his way back downstairs and tried to relax and smoke a cigarette- recent events in his life had caused the teen to take up smoking, a habit which he found calmed him down considerably better than shooting things.

((For now I will be the NPC's, York.))
The two guards at the door weren't overly suprised at the sight of the bortherhood member since there had been a few of them around the town lately. The one on the left of the door to the office spoke up, "Nice ta meet ya seer. Mayor's in alright. Not busy neither. You can go in any ole time. We don't stop no bodies unless the Mayor is not here. Cuz then we ain't here."
The other guard slowly set his face into his hand and groaned at his clearly less than intelligent comrade. "I'm sorry sir. The Mayor has an open door policy to where the only time you're not allowed in is when the door is locked. To be honest it's all for show that the two of us are out here at all."
With that said the second guard opened the door for the Junior Knight. The room that it led to was that of a standard government officals office, with desk and several chairs. There were even several fake potted plants around the room that had what appeared to be rather new wall paper. Behind the desk sat a slightly pudgy older man who was obviously pretending to be swamped with paperwork. "Come in. Come in. I see the General is still too busy to see me herself, but I'm not too busy to see her lackeys."
As York walked out of the area, the squad leader noticed that Cartagan had arrived followed very closely by Land and Joker. Rahm waved all of the other soldiers in closer to him so that he could point positions out on the map better.
"Cartagan I need you to take charge of the town gate for the base defense. So go ahead and make your way over there to familiarize yourself with the fastest route to there and the best location for you on the wall. Also try and figure out what their lockdown procedures are."
"Land I need you to do two things. For now you'll be manning the southern wall of the town, which just so happens to be the closest one to us. Find the easiest access point and the same information that Cartagan is getting. The second thing I need you to do is find a good location for a vehicle hanger. Something big enough for a vertibird obviously. Until we have somewhere to store that the General doesn't want us tying up that equipment. That being said we are getting a HMMWV in a couple days. Since you're the only pilot here you're going to be primary for driver."
"Joker you'll be taking the eastern wall. Same tasking for you in that AO. However there is also a radio room on top of a building on that side of town. I got the damn thing working for them when the Reapers came through, however I noticed that the antenna has fallen over. Pop your head in there too and see if they just didn't notice or if their whole comms system is shot."
"One last thing you guys. I didn't put bunks in your rooms since I know everyone likes their bed a certain way. I'm going to run out and put in orders for the beds to get made later today, how do you want them?"
