Mirelle reclined in a tree in the park, reading her favorite book. She had spent the day knocking the tomcats down a few pegs, and was unwinding with a good read. She turned the pages contentedly, enjoying all of the stimuli of reading an old book. The smell of the pages, the worn ease of the spine... Mirelle sighed a contented sigh and turned the page, lost in the story.

Aidan had been wandering again. Flirting, and breaking hearts had become a daily habbit... but he longed for deeper misteif among the cats. Then he saw her. The girl that tackled his brother, sitting reading a old book right by his home. How dare she, but wait! This could prove to be just the distraction he longed for. How much of a loop can he throw the girl for, since she seemed immune to all of his and his brothers carms. Perhaps he could play a sinster trick. Thats it. His thoughts drifted to her and val, how she had desperatly tried to make leway on that pee brain. Walking over to the tree he started humming. Match maker match maker make me a match... "Hey you. Wanna help me find my match?"

Mirelle looked up from her book. One of the twins was looking up at her... the bare chested one... Aidan? Yes that was it. Help him find his match? what the deuce did he mean by that? Mirelle frowned. What are you up to, tomcat...? Mirelle closed her book and stared down at him. "I beg your pardon?" Mirelle replied, disdain and incredulity equal in her voice.

He smirked up in her direction. " I said, I want to find someone to tie me down, after Kieran went all awol I decided perhaps I could use someone to... ground me." He said with the same disdan and incredulity as she gave to him. He stood, firm footed, and staired up at the cover of her book. It wasnt one he had read.... in fact... when was the last time he finished a novel?

Numerous responses chased themselves around Mirelle's head. "What makes you think I'd help you, tomcat?" "As if I'd wish your eternal presence on any female." just to name a few. Mirelle settled on a different tack. After all, the twins really hadn't done anything to deserve her ire... except be themselves... be calm, girl, be calm... "Decided to give up your decedent ways and settle down?" Mirelle called, with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

“I see nothing wrong with the way I view women. I appreciate their….. Forms.” He smirked up at her climbing the tree to be closer to the one who despised him so. Perhaps this would be quite fun. How far could he push this girl before she completely blew up? It was all questionable, for since she was off bounds by Valiant’s own words, and he couldn’t flirt with her, it seems he must torment her.

Again the voices in her head cried out for him to be out in his place, but Mirelle silenced them. Immediately she had despised this tomcat, and his behavior was in no way convincing her that she should feel otherwise. But it would be too easy to simply blow up at him and tell him all the things she was thinking. No... Mirelle smirked inwardly. I think I'm in the mood for a little fun. Let us see what this tomcat is made of... "That was in no way a remark about how you view women, but how you treat them." Mirelle straightened, businesslike. "If i was to help you 'find a match', what qualities would you desire in a prospective mate?"

Aidan smiled to himself. There, she was playing into it. But what did he want in a ideal mate? Truly he had not even thought this far, but he would not let her see the frustration wrinkle his forehead. He sat on the branch next to her. "They would have to be beautiful surely, I am not picky on gender. Smart, willing to comply." Aidan fully smirked at her. "Good with their hands." He lifted his hand to her hair and brushed a strand from her eyes. "someone kinda like you."

Mirelle twitched as Aidan touched her. HOW DARE HE!! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH ME YOU FILTHY- ......breath..... breath..... Dammit she had to control herself if she was to continue this game. Mirelle thought about what he had said carefully, picking it apart in her head. Why not... Mirelle smirked back at him, in control of her emotions again "And pray tell, what am i like?"

He glanced away and then back at her. “Well, your kind, mildly insane, adorable in a … nerdy way, you… I don’t know.” Aidan smiled at her with all the charm he could muster. “Are a clumsy idiot at times. Especially in trying to be subtle.” A huge grin covered his face as he looked at her, and then wiggled his eyebrow at her. “and dead sexy in a I want to screw my teacher kind of way.”

Mirelle was... stunned? Shocked? Infuriated? She stared at Aidan. She hated him because he was so similar to the tomcats in her alley: a pig, believed he could get anything he wanted, and so damn cocky about it. But this was... different. He said it all so... suavely... not at all like the blunt come ons of the alley tomcats. He was just so...boldly... absurd! Mirelle couldn't help it. She started to giggle, her sides shaking, until she was full out laughing. this is fun...

A huge grin spread across Aidan's face as she started giggling. So she does have a softer side... point for me. "I suppose that was funny. Though I was completely serious." He held out his hand to her, "I want to take you somewhere." The daylight seemed fuzzy, and the orb in the sky told him it was somewhere around noon. Perhaps they would get there right before sunset... Perfect he thought and waited for her to take his offer.

Mirelle had calmed down enough to speak although she was still giggling. "That's just it! You were so serious!" Mirelle giggled some more before settling down. She looked at him sideways, "And where do you want to take me, tomcat? Just because you got me to laugh does not mean I have taken to you. You we're just so bloody serious about it." Mirelle giggled again before giving him a wry smile. "I'm dead sexy, huh? In an I want to screw my teacher kind of way? Does this mean you are admitting that i am smarter than you?"

"dont you ever act on impulse?" Aidan asked sticking his tongue out at mir. "im not going to randomly ravish you, Vally forbid it. Plus your smarter then me remember. You will figure out where we are going loooooong before I tell you." His hand ruffled the hair of the still giggling girl. Perhaps he would be better at getting her to smile, lord knows someone needed to. Breaking the stiff. the game had a ring to it. Thunking her on the head he jumped down. "You will never know unless you fallow me, or always regret that you never knew."

Mir was still coming down from her giggles to care when Aidan ruffled her hair, but the thunk on her head jolted her back to her surroundings. She grumbled as Aidan jumped down from the tree. I'll show you impulsive... She leaped from the tree onto Aidan's shoulders. "MUSH!" She cried, thumping him on the head with her book.
