Let's use this thread to discuss different methods of gaining new subscribers. If we put our heads together, I'm sure all us video-creators could learn a thing or two.
I have my own channel, and as my videos continue to become more popular, I find that I am always getting a few new subscribers everyday. But the way I market my videos seems to be able to beef up that new subscriber number.
The methods I know of are:
1. Communicate with other youtubers with genuine friendship. (Send them a message, comment on their videos/profile, reply to their comment on a video) They will become interested in you and check out your videos. (You also build a friendship, which is nice!)
2. Spam. I really do not respect this method. I receive lots of spam in my inbox and do not watch it, but I'm sure some people do - or no one would send it in the first place.
3. Post your video as a video response to a similar, popular video.
4. Create videos that are impressive and addictive so people want to see more.
5. Collaborate with other video creators with a similar level of popularity as you.
What methods do you guys know of, or use question
