The day was fairly hot, but the promises of high stratus clouds appearing so sheild some of the sun gave Namir hope. But if one moved to the north and then side stepped to the East, and then backtracked a few paces into the woods, that one would find a small brightly lit valley full of fragrant flowers and blooming trees. The neon and pastel flowers mixed to make a scene that might had been an art work brought alive my magic, but the clearing had a wild look to it. As if it had not been touched by a Namir in a few months, even possibly a year. The trees were over producing their flowers and their leaves were scattered all over the ground, green and brown, making a bed around the bases of their trunks. Chaos in the peace....

It would appear plant life was not the only thing alive in this slice of tranquility. Burried in a pile of leaves, a Brown female rested quietly, trying to hide from the heat and the sun. The small clearing was a place to think, and so far it had proven to be rather solitary. It was too hot to chase lizards and birds, but she was bored because of the lack of activities. Stretching her limbs, Saraneth lifted herself to her paws, stretching her back before walking slowly through the flowers. Although summer wasn't her favorite season, it had its advantages. Her favorite type of roots grew in the warmth, and flowers of every shade and hue where in bloom. It was a lovely time... if only it didn't have to be so hot!

A ball of purple and red fur moved slowly and silently through the trees. It was trying to find some shade and relaxation in the stressing heat beating down from the high sky above. To think a star could become so angry and unrelenting after seasons of peace before the summer months.

Sighing, Trey continued on his trek, keeping his eyes open for any place to escape or any sign of life, though he doubted he would find either. But right when he was giving up his eyes caught something. A certain "paradise" it would seem, and in it a familiar figure.

Scratching hopefully at the dirt around the base of the plant, Saraneth dug as far down as she dared before grasping the stem in her mouth and tugging. The stubborn plant wouldn't release it's grasp on the soil, but the brown and white female was determined to get what treasure it hid beneath it. Putting more pressure on the plant, Saraneth fell back onto her rump when it finally came free, the dirt spraying up as the small roots snapped. She sneezed before shaking her head, the Namir hadn't expected it to be so hard to dig the tuber up, normally this specific type was really easy to unearth.

Picking herself up, she swung her tail so that it brushed against the back of her legs, making sure there wasn't an obvious amount of dust on her backend. She felt triumphant. It was going to be the first tuber of the summer, and she was going to enjoy it! But her musings were disrupted as she caught sight of movement near the edge of the glade. Turning around so that she could face whoever it was, Saraneth smiled through the plant that occupied her mouth. Bounding forward, and action that made the flora bounce wildly, the female let her strides lengthen. "Shray!" His name was muffled, but her intent to come and see him wasn't hidden at all. Trotting to a stop, Sara dropped the tuber so she could speak. "Trey! Hello! How are you doing?"

The purple male dawned a curious gaze as he watched the familiar figure from a distance. He wanted to go up, to catch her attention, to see her face and hear her sweet voice ring in his ears. Yes, it had been another while since the two had met, but it seemed no matter how long their separation from each other his feeling for her went unchanged. To think that kid he met so long ago, the one that seemed to fall from the sky, would be the one who would end up making him fall.

Trey shook his head as he took a seat in his current spot. He really couldn’t tell what Sara was up to, but whatever it was it seemed she was having a hard time with it. His thoughts were only confirmed when he noticed the female fall backwards, which just ended up lightly amusing him. His amusement was cut short thought when Sara’s voice rang through his head.

Blinking with slight confusion in the moment, he smiled as he watches Sara run over to him. “Hello there Sara.” he said with a chuckle as he saw the happiness in her step. “I’m doing well. I was looking for a place to rest when I spotted you over where you were and decided to stop. I was kind of contemplating whether to go over and say hi or not, but..” he looked down at the plant. “It seems you were busy wrestling this thing down there.”
