For a time, Apollo wandered away from Venus to give himself a bit of thinking room. Leaving her to sleep in, as it was early dawn. He headed off to the park, his ears twitching at the top of his head, long white braid swaying along his back. Bandaged feet walking softly against the concrete path as he wandered away from his new home, leaving behind the dog house to share Venus's little hide away with her. Bandaged hands folded behind his back as his head was tilted downwards, ears still twitching, taking in the sounds around him. A heavy grief still hung over him like a black cloud that refused to leave him alone and let the sun shine. Shaking his head madly, braid swinging from side to side, he fought to clear his mind... Impossible.
"You can't go on begrudging yourself." He muttered loudly to himself as he entered the park, soft grass under his feet. "You have to just let it go..." Another pause as he mentally fought with himself, not wanting more to be heard...
Stopping beneath a tree, not knowing that someone else might have been around, he sat down and rested his head against the trunk. Legs folding themselves and hands resting in his lap, tail laying at his side. He didn't bother tear the cloth from his face, there wasn't much need, he could feel the air about him warm as the sun slowly approached the horizons edge at the far end of the city.
"Oh what am I to do." Apollo sighed soon falling forward with his face within his own bandaged hands, small bell tinkling softly.

Birma walked through the forest with a rolled-up quilt under his arm. His head buzzed with daily thoughts as the bees buzzed around him, lighting on the flowers drooped with dew. Everything was as he expected, except for the leg coming from behind the tree. He furrowed his brow. Would this person interfere with his meditations for the day? Yesterday's session didn't go as well as some, and he felt a need to catch up.
“Namaste!” he called through the thick dewy air. He circled the tree to find it was Apollo, his hands covering his blindfold. “Oh, peace to you, brother. I don't mean to intrude.”

The sounds of someone walking nearby and coming closer made his ears twitch. Head raising a bit as a somewhat familiar voice tossed his own thoughts to the way side, for the moment at the very least anyways. Shifting a little he reached to pull the cloth from his head and cracked open a silver toned eye to glance up at the other cat whom seemed at peace.. Too far at peace for ones own good...
"No need to say that. You're not intruding upon anything, but a troubled mind." He leaned back against the tree, "Thought a peaceful time out her would help, but it doesn't seem to be."
Closing his eyes again, he sighed, troubled unsure of where things, besides stretched were going with him. He would have enjoyed a bit of meditation... If he knew how to clear his mind and everything or even how it all worked. Cracking an eye once more to glance at the other cat, that one seemed ready for something, given the cloth he carryed... What was he up to anyways? Certainly not sleeping, the cloth didn't look like it would have been big enough to cover hos whole body with.
"Mind if I ask, what are you out here for?" he inquired, "If I'm not intruding on your personal ventures that is of course."

He spread the quilt on the ground on the other side of the big oak. "I'm here to listen to my inner being and any other thing that may be talking." He stepped on the quilt and turned three times before sitting in a comfortable lotus position. Closing his eyes, he quickly worked at letting his own nagging thoughts pass by

Apollo watched the strange cat as he spread out the cloth, turn then sit upon it. Shaking his head, ears flapping just a little he leaned himself back against the tree even harder as his thoughts raced about like hummingbirds looking for the best flowers before others could get them. Bandaged hands clenched into fists then unclenched as his teeth bore into each other. Oh the irony.
"You have fun with that..." He muttered softly not really wanting to disturb the cat. "At least one of us will think clearly when the sun rises above the buildings." Falling silent once more he battled with himself mentally, wishing not to be an annoyance to those about him. Apollo was sure he could listen to his innerself, but right now it was battling him and he was losing the fight, emotionally at least.

Birman let the energy of the tree slide into him slowly, like sap running into each of his centers. He felt Apollo on the other side of the tree. "Tell me what troubles your mind. Suffering of any sort can be a distraction, but especially suffering of the heart." He shifted his tail to align with the mantra he had begun in his mind.
