The broken female had yet to tell her sons of the impending move.. She had been accepted into a pack.. Or they had. She had wanted safety for her family, and she had done what was necassary for their survival. She was a bad hunter, though she was an expert fisherman. She couldnt feed her pups right, all they ever seemed to get was fish.
She jumped over the little creek which if she would have followed, would have carried her to the river. But that was not her destination this time. She was after their little makeshift den. It was actually an abandoned Lynx burrow, but it suit the small family rather well.
With Dhaval not in the picture, and him having taken her only little girl, she had revolved her life around her two boys. They were precious to her, adn she loved them. But she couldnt help but feel panged when she looked at them. They were such a likeness to that Dhaval..
She sniffed the air, her head held high, and then she rose her muzzle to bay at the sky for her sons. She knew they were around, she could smell them.
Now if she could just get them all here. _________________________________________________________
Warrick had been attempting to sleep the day away. Rolled onto his back, he kicked in the air, eyes closed, and lips quivering in his dreams. He was hunting this time..Chasing the deer that his mother could not catch. But in his dream, he could catch them for her. After all, he was a little brave hero. He had always been a protector. And righ tnow, his protection went to his mother first and foremost.
Though when she said she would return, he did not worry for her. Instead, he rolled over in teh sunlight, and dozed off into dream land.
But the howl echoed in his ears, and he opened one eye, then both, and was on all fours in a second.
Throwing his own head back, he howled back towards her, taking off in her direction.

Warrick was a hero and Yas, well he was Yas. He never saved anyone from a killer lynx as a pup or whenever his brother had fended off the feline. The silvery-gray, white and brownstone pelted young male was batting at the creek's surface with a large paw.
The young male was growing into his over-sized paws, but he didn't know exactly who he was. He knew he was the son of a caring mother, Artemis, who had been taken advantage of or rather seduced by his father, who in which Yas felt he resembled more then his dark brown mother, and he had a sister, he just didn't remember her all that well, and his brothers.
The young teen tilted an ear towards the direction of a howl, unmistakably his mother's, and Yas stood up without thinking about it. Somewhere he heard Warrick's replying howl, Yas didn't howl he just moved quickly and as silently as he could down the creek towards where his mother had made home for them.
Ears perked forward in a state of pure alertness, that maybe he could learn to hunt well, but not until he could grow into his over-sized paws.
"Mother?" the young male called out as he came around the bend into view of the den.

The female waited, and once she heard the reply of Warrick, she kept her ears perked for Yas, though he neer really seemed to be much of a spoken wolf.
He tended to be off on his own. She supposed he got that from Dhavals side, as she hated being alone. But when he did not answer, she did not start freaking out. She gave it time.
"Oh my son," She said, as Yas came into view. He sure was faster than Warrick, as she had sworn that Warrick sounded close. But she smiled anyway, walking over to her son, and nuzzling his soft neck fluff.
"You are getting so big in my days." She said with a smile. ________________________________________
Warrick dove through the treeline, bounding, his claws digging into the earth. When he was almost next to his mother and brother, he attempted to stop, but ended up drawing huge scratch marks in the dirt, and falling over his feet.
He couldnt be told he was graceful.. But he sure had enough personality.
"Momma!" He said, voice happy. Then his eyes went to Yas. "And if it isnt my brother." He replied, smiling and wagging his tail, standing and shaking his coat to brush off any dirt.

Those cloudy pale blue or liquid silver eyes warmed at the sight of the dark brown wolfess. There was only a few yards, or seconds between the brothers, Yas having just been down near the creek had been the closest physically to the den, even though not being big on the words he tried to make up with speed.
His tail gave a loving wag as his mother came up and Yas gave a warm smile in return at her gentle touch. A soft laugh escaped his maw too at her comment about his growth.
"It's because we eat like bears here, mom. Always more then we can eat." He softly joked. Artemis thought she did bad by only being able to feed her sons fish, but Yas thought it was better for them, as long as the bears didn't come looking for any food, and it seemed like a good place for fish to spawn and travel year round.
And then that was when Warrick come busting out of the tree line. At first, Yas's instincts were to jump in between the flying object and his mother, but at the sight of it just being Warrick. He stepped back. Yas was defiantly the more reserved of the two boys it would seem.
"Hello, Warrick," the teen's voice greeted as he watched his brother shake his coat free of dirt, but that soft wag of his tail was still beating the air gently.

She smiled. "Oh my! Well my son had better not eat like a bear! How shall I support him?" She asked, a giggle escaping her maw. She was never fearful when her children were around. In fact, she was quite happy when they were near. They were her sole reason for living day to day.
"So my boys! I have an announcement." She started, her tail wagging. Her frame had become thin, though she was still an attractive female. She was not eating as much as she had in her mothers pack, but she was still thriving.
"I have found us safety.. I have found us a pack that will protect us and help sustain us. And the leader is oh so very kind." She said, her voice happy. Oh she hoped her sons were happy as well. ___________________________________________________
"How are you, you little BANDIT?" He asked with a grin. He loved joking and making little goofs and nicknames. But he never meant them in a mean way, he was sure everyone knew that.
At his mothers words, he perked his ears, cocking his head.
"A pack?" He asked curiously. He had never been part of a pack, but mother had said she had been before. She had been born into a pack, and in turn, had always longed for another since her leaving the old one. But now, they were part of a pack. He, Yas, and his mother.
"Are..Are there.. Other pups?" He asked. Even if he was a teen, he still felt the need to play, and he enjoyed pups!
