Welcome to Turrop, a world where everything is run by the power of the world. People call this power that they obtain from their mother Majik. Majik powers many things in this realm, including technology. Reactors that stabalize this power are created to make electricity, to manufacture goods for trade, and even weapons. After being able to control and handle Majik, people also learned ways to inherit the spirit of the planet in their bodies, allowing them to use Majik through their fingertips, but it is rare to see these people. These people are called Possessed, because others beleive their body is invaded by this power Majik. They use such a name because although this force can be helpful, it can also be powerful and dangerous. Unknowingly, the government of a small city called Aeros, a city that glides atop clouds using Majik, plans to find out how the Possessed inherit their abilities so he can create his own army of possessed and wreak havoc upon Turrop. A young possessed named Reks was to be a test subject for this process, but he escapes, and now Reks is constantly persued. Reks, by scientists of Majik, called Majicians, has been labeled a very powerful Possessed. They beleive a chunk of Turrop's spirit was born in his body as he entered the world. Reks' plan is to divulge the information he gathered to the Ruler of Turrop, but the government of Aeros is trying to keep a step ahead of him and plans to assassinate him and take his place. Will Reks succeed in preventing this horrible event? Or will Turrop fall into the corrupted official's hands? Only time will tell...

No, I'm sorry I poof'd for a while! Anywho, I have an idea. Obviously, Reks is in a quagmire, so he has to find some help from someone he thinks he can trust right? So somehow you meet Reks and the two end up talking, then they have to fidn a way off the floating city, and that'll be the first conflict in the story. Muahaha!

Alright. All you gotta do is start it off, and I can turn the RP in the right direction.

A grunt escaped Reks' mouth as he took a sharp corner, almost stumbling down to the pavement. Men's armor clanked behind him as they were hot on his trail. He continued to bolt down the alleyway and took the nearest turn, then ducked out behind a vendor's cart in the street. The gaurds continued to run past him, he'd successfully eluded them for now. A sigh of releif escaped him as the men dissapeared down the street. "They keep getting faster..." He moaned.

((Sorry it took me so long! I feel out of it today, kinda tired but kinda not. I just read to books in 25 minutes! Reading makes me get all 'duuur'))
Reks jumped as he heard a voice next to him. He turned and saw a girl hiding behind the same exact vendor's cart, sitting only inches away. "Maybe...what about you?" He asked, rasing an eyebrow slightly at her. She seemed different, not like the other people around. She seemed devious, like she was a trouble maker.

((I am quite the scholar, although, genius by birth, slacker by choice))
Reks gave her a crooked, unsure smile as he peeked around the corner of the vendor's cart. The gaurds where gone, so the streets seemed clear. "Nice to know..." He said before standing up. As he did a man walked up to the vendor's cart. "How much is this?" The man asked, pointing to a large fish. Reks jumped at the man's approach. "Uhh...500..." The man grinned. "Wow, that's cheap! I'll take it!" Without hesitating the man put money on the cart and took the fish. Reks just stared at the money strangely, then shrugged his shoulders and stuffed it in his pocket. "Money earned..." He mumbled as he looked down to the girl. "There's no gaurds, it's safe."
