In this world, superheroes are real. People are born with, or come upon, incredible abilities that allow them to fight crime, live happily, or end in tragedy. However, with great power, comes great suspicion. This did one super create a home, school, and sanctuary for those of great power: Avalon. Like a great spire, it rises into the sky, a great white pillar.

Avalon is a nation in and of itself, at the same time a school and a home for anyone with special abilities. It services people of any age, and the schooling is very well-known for its high quality. In short, it is a perfect paradise for superpowered people.

At the bottom level lies Avalon City, a place of business and trade, essentially the only area 'normals' can access. Here there are many shops, restaurants, grocers, and malls, all available to the average student or teacher.

The next level up is housing, split ing three sections and further divided by gender. The first level if for students from first to seventh grade, the second, for students from ninth to twelth, and the largest, for students from college level and beyond.

The third level is classrooms. Again, this is divided by grade, the higher you go, the more challenging the course, and the higher the grade level.

The fourth level, and the last accessable to students, is Administration. Here students may come to speak their greivances, see councelors, request financial aid, and pick up their living expenses.

Beyond that is teacher housing, and beyond that is the office of the Principal. Needless to say, the students or even the teachers rarely ever see him.

The whole building is built like a giant tube, so that flyers may access level at their leisure. There are also elevators and stairs.
