The fans had gone silent and Jed had been standing in the ring by himself for a while now. One of the highest marked matches of the May Birthday Show was turning out to be a No-Show. When suddenly Kai walked out from backstage with no music playing and a mic in his hand, his match attire was on and he stopped half way down the entrance ramp before raising the mic to his lips. "Jed!" Kai shouted into the mic to make sure he had everyone's attention. It was the biggest entrance but it would hopefully get all eyes on him. "Jed!" Kai shouted again to make sure every one knew where to look.

Kai turned to his side and pointed up at the titantron with a smile. "Mike Landry, your opponent." Kai's smile had grown into a grin as a video began to play. It was a clip from earlier that night of Mike Landry seeming to be flailing about to catch a microphone when suddenly he is kicked in the face by AJ Warner who then towers over him. And in the background of that video is another clip which is faded so you barley see the clip but you hear the voice of Mike talking "I am a former WWE:E Champion, and I am the Heartbreaker! So there will be no happy endings for anyone, and that means if you want me to wrestle a match against that psychopath pill popper you can forget it! Give me a real contestant, give me a match, not a deathrap! I dare you!"

The crowd was cheering at the clip and Kai was smiling the whole time as he watched the video. Once it finished he turned back to Jed with the smile still on his face but then the smile was washed away as Kai raised his hand and pointed at Jed. "I will be your opponent!" Kai said as he pointed to Jed with a sour face.

Kai chucked his mic on the floor and stepped back to the top of the entrance ramp where he stood for a while before raising his arms in the air and his entrance music began to play. "Whatever You Like" Intrumental by T.I.

Kai then lowered his arms and moved his shoulders around slightly as he looked down to Jed in the ring, Mike Landry had a lot to say in his promo. About a good few people, but Kai remembered what he heard about Jed. He shook his hands off slightly before taking his powerful run down the entrance ramp to be followed by the bright red and blue pyros as if chasing after his footsteps.

He soon reaches the bottom and the pyros explode one last time at the bottom of the entrance ramp as Kai dives in under the bottom rope and roles onto his side and back to his feet to raise both arms again but this time they are raised horizontally and he stands facing Jed's direction for a while. He then lowers his arms and stands back slightly to have the ref search him whilst the referee announces Kai to every one.

"And his opponent, he weighs in at 180 pounds. And five foot ten. From Aikawa, Kanagawa, Japan... Kai!"

There are cheers and jeers around the ring as gold lights flicker for a a second or two around the arena when the announcer says Kai's name.

Once the ref finished checking Kai over for weapons he stepped back and rang for the bell. This was Kai's first match with Jed, and he wasn't sure how to approach his opponent. He slowly stepped forward to Jed and began to circle his opponent eye him up deciding what he would do.

Kai leaned in to Jed only to try sneak under Jed and jump up onto the second turn buckle to follow up with a spinning kick as Jed would turn around.

With the spinning kick missing Kai twisted his waist area that little bit more to get a landing on his feet and stand up straight. With the landing he saw his opponent going for the same move Kai just went for. He too ducked under it and stepped forward a little into the corner to turn around and expecting his opponent to land on his feet Kai, waited then go for a step up Enziguri where he would use the ropes for a bit more height.

Kai again landed on his feet to no avail and only to see his opponent Jed going for the same move Kai just missed, again. Kai ducked the move the move once again going into a crouching position before pushing himself forward like a leap into a roll to get away from the action and as far away from Jed as possible. Once away, Kai got to his feet again in the center of the ring, he was still breathing quite well with a smile on his face as he realized how good this match could turn out to be, and with that Kai put his hand forward for Jed to come forward and accept.

Kai stepped back after the hand shake and took a crouching position waiting for Jed's move. Kai had already shown a glimpse of what he was capable of to both Jed and the roaring crowd. Now it was Jed's turn to show Kai what he could do.
