A plethora of creatures are often found around runi and their rings. Some just enjoy the company, while others are rely on the safety of the ring, or may even come to it's defense. The diversity of creatures considered to be familiars is virtually infinite; in many cases, a species will be known to cohabitate with rsuchu, and so you will see them crop up here often. Sometimes a species will only appear once. A Rsuchu can have up to two familiars on their cert, with the exception of some smaller creatures (mantids, flits).
Familiars will be able to have their own certs in the future, and some may even be breedable themselves!

the unicorns; in other words, one-shot creatures that appear once and never again. You can find severel examples on the owners list in the post below.
Shown here are species regularly known to live with rsuchu rings. Not all species that serve as familiars are regularly associated with

Sirix
Sirix are small creatures vaguely resembling rabbits. They have long necks and tails as well as hoofed hind legs. Their coat is always pointed and occurs only in natural tones, a stark contrast to their brightly banded wings. Timid herbivores, they often move with rings for protection as well as companionship. Sirix make excellent scouts. Rarity: common

Royal Mantis
Colored in gold, silver, and gem tones, royal mantids are truly living jewels. While not sentient, they often live in a symbiotic relationship with the rsuchu as a tickbird would with rhino, consuming pests and insects attracted by the unicorn's bright colors. Rarity: common

Crested Gecko
Crested geckos are large, soft-skinned lizards that sometimes befriend rsushu. The are usually striped, either vertically or horizontally, and have crests on their heads and necks. Their color changes from soft muted tones during the day to more vibrant colors at night. Rarity: uncommon

Corgriff
Smaller flightless cousins of the gryphon, corgriffs have a front half resembling that of a crow and the hindquarters of a thick-tailed hunting cat. The patterns on their feathers and coats usually resemble those of another bird or cat species. They are semi-intelligent, and can learn snippets of human tongues, though their speech is heavily accented. Rarity: uncommon

Mask Dragon
Masks are medium-sized sentient dragons with a mask-like armored facial plate. They will occasionally befriend a rsuchu and choose to live with it and it's kind. Rarity: rare
