{This is a back-log RP between Thea and Brioso, before Brioso meets her current mentor, Grencia.}

The filly opened her mouth and let out a loud yawn, tears swelling up in her eyes as she did. It was a calm, quiet night, with a gentle breeze that made it perfect to sleep. Even the dark blue skies seem to smile, filled with twinkling stars and a bright full moon. However, Brioso was feeling more bored than sleepy; the day had been uneventful... She had been running about looking for any signs of trouble, but everything was peaceful.
She let out a soft sigh as she trotted, heading towards her home. Although part of her sort of knew that no news is good news, she can't help but feel rather disappointed at how uneventful her life is... After all, how is she ever going to prove herself as a great heroine if there was nothing for her to save?
She let out another sigh, and slowed to a halt. Lifting her head, the filly looked at the night sky and closed her eyes, making a silent wish; 'Please let my life have more meaning that this...'. When she opened her eyes, Brioso couldn't help but chuckle at herself as she continued on her way home.
"That is so unlike Brioso, the heroine-in-training, to do!"

Thea had wandered away from their little home at the edge of the forest, mostly to get a better view of the stars, and to see if she could find her sister. She trotted slowly over the hills covered in fresh, spring grass, that felt very soft and cool under her little gold hooves. As she slid down one, she heard a familiar voice not far off. "Hello Bri." She called out as she cantered around a hill, though it was not the right hill and she still did not see her sister.
She quickly scrambled up the tallest hill she could find, her hooves clattered on the rocks that stuck out of it, as it had eroded away during the first spring storm. "There you are." She shouted as she spotted her sister a few hills away. ((Sorry about the wait and kind of short reply. And I couldn't find her foal tag, so I just used one I made.))

{Its fine! I don't care how long an RP takes to finish as long as it finishes in the end. <3}
"Thea?" The filly's ears perked up when her name was called, recognizing the voice straight away. Quickly, she turned her head towards the source of the sound but saw nobody. Frowning slightly, Brioso wondered if she had been imagining things when the voice called again; this time, Brioso turned her whole body around and spotted her sister at the top of a hill. Her frown was replaced by a grin, and she trotted in the other filly's direction.
"Thea!" She called again, happy to see the familiar face. Maybe it was the fact that they were both girls, but she felt closer to her sister than her brother. In fact, Brioso felt that Thea's presence helped calm her down quite a fair bit. Nuzzling her sibling, she nipped playfully at her hair before smiling, "What are you doing out here?"

"I'm out here looking for you. What are you doing out here?" She said as she nuzzled her back, but continued to look around the area. "So have you found some grand adventure involving scary caves again?" She asked, hoping the answer was no, she was not going to go in another cave for a while, but some of that was partly their brother's fault. "Or perhaps we can go to the nice field just beyond those trees, and play a game." She said motioning with a hoof in the direction of the field, which threw her off balance and she slipped partly off the hill. She hoped that Bri would go for that idea, and didn't have some cave adventure in mind.

"I'm looking for people to help, of course," Brioso grinned, giving her sister a wink; of course, most of these 'trips' ended up with her going home feeling rather defeated. She always recovered the next day though, and was also on a lookout for any signs of trouble. Flicking her tail, she giggled at the mention of caves; she had always found them rather fascinating and a good place for advanture, but although it was more fun to go with her siblings, it ate into her personal 'glory'.
"I think a simple game would be nice for a change," She finally replied, talking a worried step towards Thea when she slipped. Glad that her sister was fine, she continued with a nod, "So, what did you have in mind?"

Thea started down the hill, careful not to slip again. "Well we could play hide and go seek, but I already found you once today." She said with a grin. "Or we could play tag. We could race." She added, despite the fact that she usually lost races, this time she'd find a shortcut, that is if she got to choose where the race ended.
"Or we could make up a new game, or a scavenger-hunt." She said as she reached the bottom of the hill, leaping off the final few feet, and landing rather gracefully at the bottom.

"This doesn't count!" The female snorted in reply, rolling her eyes with a grin plastered on her face, "I wasn't hiding at all! I was just minding my own business when you came by... So it doesn't count!" Brioso raised an eye brow, pausing for a moment, "What were you doing here anyway? Did you really came all the way just to find me?"
She giggled, trotting towards Thea and giving her a gentle nuzzle, "Well, we could do all of that or we could spend some quality sister time together. Its rare that Sol isn't around to make noise. Besides, I did my heroine patrol twice already, and there is still no signs of trouble at all! Its been like this for way too long." She frowned a little, wondering where all the bad guys were, but quickly regained her smile as she looked at her sister, waiting for her verdict.

"Not just to find you. I was also following a grasshopper, but I lost it when it flew into a tree." She said, preferring the pursuit of smaller things like bugs to her siblings pursuit of bad guys and places where one could easily break their neck.
"Well what would we do during this quality time, if not play a game?" She asked as she nuzzled her sister back.

"Sneaky grasshoppers!" Brioso complained with a frown on her lips as she shook her head. She then nuzzled her sister on the cheek, as if to comfort her sister, before continuing, "Its almost impossible to catch one! I was just following one the other day! I was so close to catching it too... Just when I thought it was near enough for me to pounce on it... HOP! Right into a bush where it just vanished!"
As Thea spoke, the dark blue filly nodded, looking thoughtfully at her sister as she giggled at the nuzzle. Suddenly, her eyes lit up before she gave a toothy grin, "Well, why don't we go look for grasshoppers! I bet that since one of us can't catch one, maybe both of us can! Besides, we can talk while hunting." She beamed, wondering what Thea thought of her idea.

"Oh they are very sneaky, they make me wish I had wings like a wind, so I could keep up with them when they go up into the air." She said with a glance at her wingless back, wondering what it would be like to fly, probably a little frightening.
"Alright. I am sure we'll catch one. We might be able to corner it with two of us." She said, her bright red eyes already looking for the flash of a grasshopper's wings as it hopped. But she didn't see one right away. "I think they like the longer grass." She said already setting off towards the little patch of grass not far off.

"Wings, huh?" The filly frowned, tilting her head as she recalled how she had seen some winged Soquilis soaring in the sky while she was galloping around in the fields. For a moment, Brioso tried to imagine what it would be like - maybe it'll be like having two extra limbs? How strange! Shrugging, she continued after a long pause, "I think I'll rather gallop than fly in the- Hey! Thea, wait up!"
Brioso trotted after her sister with a grin, glad that she liked her idea. They would be victorious today! Today, they would bring home a grasshopper to show their brother - that'll show him that girls are as good as, if not better, than boys!

"Yeah, I still think I prefer the ground." She said as she trotted along. "I wonder if there are any with wings that are afraid of heights, wouldn't that be strange?" She said after a moment, then bounced a little higher than required over a pile of sticks. "I suppose it would be like us being afraid of running, just because we might fall down."
She then thought of how they might bring home their grasshopper, since it wasn't likely to cooperate with them. Maybe if they found something it liked to eat, it might come along with them.
