"The days are going by pretty quickly.."
Mei noted, looking out her window as she pulled on her clothes.
She felt a light ache on her back, remembering all the planting she did the previous day.
She rubbed her shoulder and yawned.
"What's on today's agenda....."
She switched the T.V. on as she sat back down on her bed.
"No use doing chores today since the rain will do it for me."

Roxana looked out the front window of the library. She made a heavy sigh. The rain always depressed her. Once more she would have get her coat on before she could go to Arwen's house.

Natsumi got up and stretched. "Good morning Aneko, Taka." She bent down and petted the little kittens. She walked into the kitchen, she was still getting used to living alone. She had made breakfast very quickly, and walked outside in her backyard. She looked up at the sky. "Looks lik rain." She muttered to herself, she hadn't planted any seeds yet.

Cherim Shot up in her bed remembering to go out and buy seeds, She remembered her TV was left on the other night when she heard the forecast.
"...Heavy rain expected..."
'Oh! I have to buy seeds! how could I be so stupid!'
The rushed woman went by her routine and flew out the door, forgetting to lock it once again.

Tyson was a cranky man who was up early. He mumbled and unleashed his seeds on the spots he had hoed. He really wasn't a morning person. however the seeds needed to go into the ground or they would grow.

The thought of not doing anything that day disappointed Mei.
She was always used to being busy and having something to do.
Mei paced around her house, the bottom of her socks squeaking quietly along the wooden floor.
Hibiki was still peacefully sleeping inside its cage.
"I should move Hibiki inside before it starts raining."
Unlatching the window she carefully fingered the hook of the bird cage and lifted it inside her bedroom.
She placed it gently on a three-legged table that sat in the corner of her room.
".....Now what......"

"Silver Lune station, signing off!"
Timothy flicked off the television with the remote control. The past 3 days had him work very very hard (sorting seeds, serving customers, informing customers) He wondered if even more were going to go into their stripey tent.
Then, Timothy thought about the money his family were earning.
He smiled, and continued eating his cereal.

Timothy and Marcus were planting seeds as quickly as they could, before the rain could get on any of them.
"Strawberry seeds?" Timothy asked his brother.
"Done." He answered.
"Potato?"
"Done."
"Turnip?"
"Done."
"Cabbage?"
"Still to go."
They started to speed up their movements. Rain could come any moment.

Finally, the two boys finished.
Timothy wiped a little trickle of sweat from his brow, "Let's go inside."
Marcus nodded with agreement.
They walked tiredly towards their little cottage. Napping could help them relieve their muscles.
Rain came, drop by drop.

Seri was spending the day playing and trying to train her puppy.
"Nooo! Don't go potty there! Ugh. You're too cute to stay mad at." The puppy had gone the bathroom on Seri's front mat. She picked him up and kissed him. "Well... Now I guess, I have to clean this up."

Timothy closed his eyelids, trying to get himself to sleep... But no matter how much time had passed, he was still wide awake.
Marcus was fidgeting in his bed. It made all sorts of creaking noises, and it wasn't helping Timothy to sleep either.
"I can't sleep..." Marcus groaned.
"Me too."

The sounds of hammering had long since stopped, but Shade's ears were still ringing. On the bright side, at least the room was comfortably livable- no more bare walls or exposed insulation. Extinguishing the light, he stretched out on top of his sleeping back with the intent to actually get some sleep tonight, though it had already eluded him every night since his arrival. He was used to that, but it still annoyed him. So rather than focus on how badly he wanted to be asleep, he quieted his mind and listened to the sounds of the world outside- the rustle of leaves, the pattering of the rain, the chirp and click of insects, the occasional distant call of an owl. Compared to the constant noise of his city childhood, it was a tranquil paradise.
