“Welcome” The head of the Spirit Clan said warmly. “I’m looking to step back from clan business for a while and you’ve shown good initiative. Would you like to become the next leader?” He laughed warmly. “Well, I’m sorry to say, it’s not that easy. But please, tell me why you want to take on this responsibility, and what you would do to further the clan.”

Libby stood before the leader of the Spirit Clan with an appalled yet excited look on her face. She bowed deeply and gracefully, holding onto the edges of her dress, then looking back at the Clan Leader she said in a dutiful voice, "This is a great honor you are presenting me and I would be proud to uphold the name of the Spirit Clan."
She paused a moment to smooth her silky blonde hair before continuing, "I believe that in my short visit to Dragon City I have found my home here in the Halls of Gallor, the sense of justice and willpower within the spirits of these dragons and guardians is so strong that I am astonished and feel the demand to defend the morals of the Spirit Clan...I have not yet found my own dragon but I feel that the learning process would be both challenging and exciting. I have been involved with intensive studies of nearly every subject since a young age including language, music, and history, which I believe would be useful in making clan decisions and implementing further policies and also planning social events to keep the clan involved and to have a sense of community. I really believe that is something important for the clan to have, and also to reach out to all the other residents and dragon guardians in and around Dragon City, to tell them of the good in the world and cast away the darkness and evil and help every person to live a prosperous and happy life."
Libby smiled brightly after her speech and once again thanked the Clan Leader for the opportunity to serve the Halls of Gallor.
