In the giant X-Mansion, students live in dorms, living together with fellow classmates of similar age, sex and in some special cases, powers. Older students live up on the higher floors, complete with giant plasma screen tvs and gaming systems, plus some other games like air hockey, ping pong and foosball. From the top level going down each floor, the age of the students decreases and privileges are less. First year students have very strict rules and early curfew. Powers aren't necessarily banned, but it is highly frowned upon if the power causes destruction. If students break rules, they will be moved down rooms as punishment for a set amount of time.
For those who are too old to be living in the student dorms, they are allowed to stay in special private dorms on different levels, or live outside of the school.

Morphine was flying, truly flying. It was a feeling she always loved no matter how many times she has done it. Her wings were spread wide to catch the wind that would speed her on. Dodging effortlessly through the trees she started to have a little fun, weaving up and down through the branches. A few others joined her in formation and they begun to do loops in the air, crying out in delight.
Soon Morphine came across her destination, a lovely old building that was one of her favourite places in the world to be. Even though she joined the Generationistss and spent a lot of time at that base with Storm and others, this was her home and as far she was concerned it was still her school.
It was part of her job to traffic information back and forth. It was easier for her to go between the places unnoticed because of her ability, it was unnoticeable on many levels because she wasn’t using any kind of detectable force, she was just another animal.
Even with the technology that could do this for her, she still did it anyway, any chance to get out. Even if she wasn't required to go to the school she still would do so anyway. Good luck trying to tell her what to do.

Right now she simply looked like a common bird. She swivelled her head looking for a landing point, flying around to the right of the school, when she found it she swooped in on her target, her bedroom window.
Often she left the window open for this very reason, to the annoyance of some teachers. Once they had shut it while she was out and when morphine returned and tried to fly in, she just went straight through the glass and ended up with a few stitches. From then on the window stayed open.

Smoothly she flew into the dark room and landed on her bed where she changed into her human form.
Her bedroom looked like a den, it was full to the brim of stuff. Everything and anything, books were strewn everywhere, clothes as well. Her bed wasn’t a bed like everyone elses, hers was just a pile of cushions, blankets and other soft things piled up on the floor which she would curl up in at the end of a long day, or night.
Standing up, she stretched out her arms and legs which ached a little from the long flight.
Morphine wasn’t very tall at all, shorter than most people her age, she also had a lean body, a lot like a dancer would. Small and strong.
Quietly, she looked around the messy bedroom for something to wear because currently she was naked. Morphing clothes wasn’t possible for her. Picking up a light shift of a dress in a dark material, she pulled it over her head and walked out into the halls without anything else.
Clothing was never high on her list of important objects, she would often run around with no clothes on as a child, even now at nineteen though a little more privately, because it felt more natural to her and of course she couldn’t be precious about it if she wanted to use her morphing powers anyway.

Classes had obviously just ended, Morphine could hear all the students moving around the building. It was so loud she didn’t even need her sensitive hearing to know that, a little part of her missed it and the people. She wondered what some of her old classmates were up to.
As Morphine passed a mirror on the wall, she glanced at herself to see what condition she was in. Her skin was soft and pale and she had a couple of freckles on her heart shaped face which was framed by thick and long dark hair that fell well past her shoulder blades. Her hair had soft curls in it and was currently looking like she had just woken up but that was just its normal appearance.
Grinning ever so slightly, Morphine walked on, clicking her claws together absent minded. Those could do with a trim as well.
Morphine passed a couple of students on their way to their rooms and smiled faintly when they looked her up and down. The tension between the three groups was still running high unfortunately. Morphine couldn’t see why they didn’t want to do something about this new threat, if they all could just get over themselves then maybe they had a chance.
Making her way down a staircase, Morphine descended into the lower dorm areas which were a little busier. There was always more younger mutants then older, the older students often left of their own choice to pursue personal projects. Morphine was no different, she left for four months to travel and still had a home to come back to. Xavier was generous like that, most of the teachers were.
Her mind drifted to Logan and she looked at her hands for a moment, he was always someone she looked up to because there was a tiny little understanding there. Morphine wasn’t one of those crazed fan girls who giggled about him at sleepovers, she simply admired him and the control he had over the primal side. She wished she was as controlled as he was.
Shaking her head, Morphine looked around and she leapt lightly off the last few stairs. She moved with an inhuman grace, every movement she made was easy and balanced, like a cat.

[[Every little thing we say, you say

A bright light shone in the room of Richard A. Simmons as he sat up in his bed. The covers had been covering his head for almost twelve minutes now, since he had just gotten out of a class, and was more tired than he usually was. Then again, it may have just been the constant training that made him tired.
He always tried to impress others, as well as prove to himself, that he deserved to be in the X-Men. It was an honor, though, he wasn't sure if others truly would considered being a mutant anything to be honored about. With a grimace, the sixteen year old male ran his hand through his hair, disgusted with his last performance in class. He had an exam, and he was pretty sure that the answers were not his drool from dozing off on the paper.
Don't get me mistaken, now, Richard was an exceptional student. It was just... well... He seemed to have drained himself too much at times. If this were a cartoon, we would have observed the exclamation point over his head as he remembered an appointment in the Danger Room, though, he was sure that he would not be able to function properly. He also remembered that Skylar had signed up for that time, and in that instance, it required at least a party of four to activate. Unknowing the other people within the Danger Room, Richard pulled on some pants and tossed on a shirt, pulling a tie to finish the 'preppy' look, and ran out of his room.

Rushing by a door that was open, he remembered, once more, that it required at least a party of four. Skylar may have already brought someone with her, but he would have to snatch someone else up. He didn't really know that many mutants who resided in his corridor, because he didn't talk much, but they seemed to know him. He was a 'cool kid' in everyone's eyes, and couldn't make any enemies within the school.
Knocking on the door, he was unsure if Luis was in her dorm just yet, but he had a surefire guess that if she wasn't, then one of her little animal friends would be there to tell him. Though, if he didn't talk much to animals, then he sure as hell didn't talk to animals.
-"Bell?"- He knocked again, this time simultaneous with his calling. This was probably one of the few words he would say in the conversation. If she had agreed to the Danger Room appointment, then he'd simply teleport the both of them, that causing a bit more fatigue. He didn't show, though, in any way, that he was tired. He wore a silent smile, awaiting her to open the door.

Aching pains and fatigue racked Alex’s body. He had a slight limp on his left side as he made his way back towards his dorm room. Groaning he held his right side while he carried his back pack in his other hand. ‘Take a shower, eat some food, and go to bed.’ He mumbled to himself as he tried to his best to get to his destination quickly. The events of the day had been replaying his head as he hobbled down the halls. He was supposed to a healthy young man who never tired, but that was told to be a lie as gym had proven. Logan had been teaching that day had even run with the class, putting them all to shame. He had been left a sweaty, wheezing heap while the teacher was not even breathing hard. That was defiantly not fair; especially since they went by Logan’s workout regime. He and some of the others in the class were more then ready to leave and tired their best to get out of there quickly. If you were to look at Alex’s condition, you would guess that they would not be moving very fast at all.

What felt like forever to Alex, was only mere minutes since he had left their class and made his way to the Dorms. He was glad to look at his door, and place his hand on its knob. It was cool to the touch and it almost made his bones ache. Though, it was welcomed as was the rush of cool air blowing into his face. Air Conditioning, gods gift to man who had to suffer the killer heat of summer. He felt as though here was about to fold in half from fatigue when the cold kissed his skin. He let go a sigh of relief and made his way into the room. He merely dropped his book bag and just slowly walked towards the bed. ‘What of his hot shower or plate of hot food?’ The thought of anything else hot was going to make him sick. His stomach even did a somersault. Those idle thoughts continued to fly out of his head as he continued to take heavy step after heavy step. “Maybe, a little nap will do me good.” He murmured as he stopped beside the bed and fell face first onto it. He let go a groan and fell silent. It would not be too much longer until he fell asleep.

The young X-man in training would sleep peacefully, blissfully unaware that he had left his door open, allowing anyone to waltz in and see him collapsed like that. Hell if he cared at this point in time. All his mind and body cared for was the rest it rightfully deserved. Would he be allowed to continue to sleep well into the next day? Would there be some chance that there would be someone seeking his help in some class that he knew well? What ever their reason it would have to be a damn good one to wake him up from his sweet dreams.

Ah, sweet dreams. They filled his head as took that respite from life and let his body heal. He would often find himself jealous of the other mutants who had been lucky enough to get that quick healing factor which was ironically one of his more favorite dreams. Oh well, there was nothing he could do about that, not now anyway. His mind swam with the common dreams of a 16 year old boy. Filled with dreams of girls of whom he found attractive. What could you do? He was at that age of course. There were more dreams, those close and personal to him that he would not share to many people, dreams he had never shared to anyone to be exact, not even his own brother.

She had just finished climbing the obnoxious amount of stairs that the school held with in it's old ivy covered walls. The slim red head set her bag down and looked around. The halls where decorated the same, the carpet the same icky colored green. This was home. She picked her bag up once more and moved down a hall to her left. As she passed the same old doors that she grew up with, her smile grew bigger. Her fingers lightly touched each door. The texture was just as she remembered it. Get a hold of yourself, it was only four months a voice called out. She ignored the nagging voice that oh so conveniently had the same tone and pitch of her mother. Her green eyes stopped one a single door across from her own. Her eyes attempted to bore wholes into the wood. Scott her mood damped lightly. He wasn't in his room, nor anywhere else as far as she could tell. Sighing she moved her hand and the door clicked open. Being blessed with Telekinesis and Telepathy may have been one of many things Jean was grateful for. She walked into her room and closed the door behind her.

Posters, photographs, letters, and her sticky notes where all in the same place as she had left them. Except for one thing. A photo was missing. Her eyes moved to each one, something was out of place. Then she realized it, a photo had been added. She walked over and peeled the tacked picture off of the wall. It was of her and Scott their freshman year of 'high school' She smiled and turned it over. There in his chicken scratch handwriting was a small message. Welcome Home -Scott. Her lips gave way to her teeth as a small grin formed upon her face. She placed her black back on the ground and set the photograph down. The black fabric had two words sew into the side of it. Jean Grey

Yes, the young Marvel Girl was back from Metro College. It was only four month but it seemed like years. She had seen new students almost every which way she turned. Some knew her and others didn't give her a second glace. Guess it was the price for leaving. The night sky was darker then it had been when she arrived. Sighing she lifted her hand, the bag moved over to the bed and she looked back at her photographs. She removed clothing and small nick knacks from the bag before tossing it aside. The majority of her stuff was being mailed back from the dorm rooms she had stayed at. Peeling her shirt off, Jean replaced it with a fresh one. Her jeans remained on, while her tennis shoes was replaced by flip flops. Her toes wiggled in the air for a moment before she moved back out into the hall way.
"Wonder who else is still up?" she asked herself allowed. her eyes lingered on Scott's door before she made her way towards the older students hang out area.

                                    ooc|| that sucked. ><;;

And in the end..
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

[gasp, someone posted. >.>]

Alex had stayed asleep for hours and hours. He stirred slightly as his mind ran rampant with dreams of girls, food, and far more stranger dreams. His body was supposed to have been motionless as he stayed in a deep REM sleep, but that was not so for Alex, who was tossing and rolling in his bed. His movement however would be the young mutant's downfall. He would end up rolling off of the bed. His tired body landed with a hard thud, and the jolt was more than enough to wake him. "Hmm, What!" he said as he came out of his dream state rather quickly. "Crap." He mumbled to himself as he lay there for a moment. His body was not as sore as he had thought it would have been considering the workout. Maybe he was finally getting use to it, as did Scott did. The thought beating Scott at something was enough to fuel his drive to win. He hated the fact that Scott had always been considered better then him. The professor's perfect X-man, or so some said. He however saw his brother for who he was, and that was just another smug b*****d. He even had one of the most beautiful women in the world as his girlfriend, it was as if everything had been given to him on a silver platter. Even his powers had not given him the trouble that his brother had to suffer with. Although, Alex was so competitive with him, and unwilling to follow his lead, it was still his brother, and the only family he knew he had. The negative thoughts were getting to him, and he just pushed them out of his mind and eased his body with a sigh.

A few minutes had passed since his inevitable fall into the floor. It was time to get up and get ready for a new day, a weekday! He had been looking forward to this, and was glad he would get the chance to rest, or would like to hope he could get a days rest. Standing now, Alex had begun to strip off his clothes, shirt, pants, socks and shoes, even his boxers were discarded into a corner. Walking bare, he ran a hand over his battered torso, the sweat and grime long since dry due to the powerful air conditioner. He inspected himself and saw the damage done by Logan's exercise regimen. There were bruises on his shoulders, and his knees were and hands were scratched up, though he could see the damage, he could see the progress as well. His bodily was in the best shape it had ever been, and he was learning more ways to protect himself without the use of his overly destructive powers. (which was a life saver for him and whoever he would fight)

He felt gross and was going to be glad to climb into the shower and get rid of his bodily funk. Walking into the shower, he felt a chill creep into his feet. The tiles stayed cold as ice during the summer and even colder during winter! Reaching out with one hand, Alex turned the shower on, and watched quickly as the steam began to fill the small bathroom. When he felt that it was finally read for him, he stepped in. The hot water made his muscles relax instantly. The heat though did not effect him physically, it's relaxing effects still did however. "So good." He muttered to himself as he first rinsed himself. He would then begin to thoroughly wash himself, scrubbing his chest, shoulders, and other parts best not mentioned. When it was all done, the shower was turned off and Alex was out.

Alex left his bathroom and begin to go through his closet and drawers to find a clean set of clothes and unmentionables. He had started to drip when he exited, but as he walked around, he had taken advantage of his power and began to release a slow flow of his power. Steam quickly begin to rise off of him, and the tale tale signs of his power showed. Waves of energy waved off of his body, cutting through the steam, and this would continue until he would be completely dry. "Much better." He said to himself as he finally found all the pieces he needed. He had found a pair of boxers that were clean, as well as his favorite Indigo shirt with a white stripe down the short sleeves. The shirt itself was tight fitting and clung to his body nicely, as if it were made for him. His legs would be dressed in a pair of tan canvas pants, something simple, but very comfortable to the young man. He dressed quickly, and soon turned to exit his room. Alex reached out and opened the door, and while he stepped out, something caught his attention. He looked to his right and saw Jean. It was a familiar face he had not seen in some time. He continued to look for sometime before closing the door.

The clicking of a closing door caught her attention. She turned side ways and smiled."Hey Alex baby, how have you been?" Jean greeted him with her normal baby crap. She always picked on him for being the baby of the Summer kids. Then again no matter how old he got, he was always going to be the blonde kid she had helped bring here. She leaned against a corner and folded her arms."Miss me?" she asked softly before walking over and kissing him on the cheek. Alex, had always been a good kid. Very helpful when it came to Scott. That was one person she could never figure out. How that irritated her through out her teen years. She was on the verge of pulling her hair out, before he had asked her out on their first date.

Her curtain of red hair shook and she shifted her weight. He had grown since the last time she had seen him. Was he always hitting that growth stage? Either that or she was getting shorter. Then again, she was tall for her age. Standing at 5'6 she was a bit taller then most girls she met. However, Emma had a few good inches on her. Blast that women. "Might you know where that dreadful brother of your is? I have something for him, but he isn't in his room" she said before hearing the T.V flicker on. One of the students laid in his boxers and placed his feet on the coffee table. Jean shuttered slightly. She was severely grossed out by feet."Gross" she muttered darkly. Her voice was that of a teenager who just watched their parents kiss. Ew. Just plain ew.

Alex only gave a weak smile. He truly did not like it when Jean had talked to him in such a manner. "Nice to see you too Jean." He said with a slight sigh as he began to make his way towards her. Her question about missing her was obvious. "Missed you like the plague." He said with a chuckle. He eventually nodded. "Yeah, I missed you." he said with a sigh. When she heard the question about his brother. "Well, I would not honestly know. We don't share where we are going every time when one of us goes out. For all I know he's probably out at the mall or something." He replied with a shrug of his shoulders. "Why do you always ask me if I know where he is at anyway?" He asked curiously. She should have learned by now that they talked rarely socially, they just were not as close as moth were with their siblings. Though, most were not separated at birth and attacked by aliens either.

"Now, did you miss me?" He asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. he gave her a cocky little smile. They had a relationship built on teasing one another, which sometimes could have been seen as flirting with one another. When she called out in disgust, Alex could not help but laugh. "Of all the things you've seen and done, that...disgusts you?" He asked curiously as he looked to the student whose name he could not remember. He looked back and only gave a shake of his head. "I'm about to head down stairs and get something to eat. Want to come?" He asked as he moved to step past her. He turned and placed his hands on his hip. "Common, I'll treat you to breakfast, or lunch...what time is it anyway?" he asked as he quickly began to look for a watch. How long had be been asleep for that matter? Oh well, he'd treat to what ever meal was appropriate for the time of day.

Eventually he would give up at looking for something to tell the time. He couldn't keep a watch due to his powers often fried the electronics in most modern wrist watches anyway. It was another downside to his powers, machines often did not tend to work as well with him putting out juice, except for his containment suit which was the only electronics device that did not bother him. (something he was thankful to have)

"Because he's your bother" and I keep forgetting she replied. Her nose wrinkles at the students feet. Another shuttered racked her body. She cocked a red eyebrow at his arms folding over his chest. She laughed. "Yes, I ached for you while I was gone" she replied with an eye roll. Her stomach rumbled quietly. She nodded and fallowed him. She stuck out her wrist, there laid a silver watch, that had been given to her by Sara. It was one of the few things she had kept of her sister.

That relationship was dead, long dead. After Jean runway to be with other kids like her, Sara hated her. Their relationship became worse when they met up at Metro. Her blonde hair barbie doll of a sister walked right past with out a word. Jean lost it. Pushing Sara against a wall in the side ally, Jean explained to Sara just how pissed off she was. Over the years she had received letters from her mother. A few phones had passed between the Grey's and Jean. Only thing was Sara never talked to her. She blamed Jean fro what happen to Annie. She blamed her for all the heartache that was caused by her coma. b***h she thought distastefully. her expression to to anger for a flicker of a moment. She had gotten lost in her thoughts again.

"Well, I don't know. Sorry, I'm not his keeper, nor am I his lover. So, Your out of luck."He said with a shrug of shoulders and a pat to her shoulder. "You're a Telepath, it shouldn't be that hard to find someone like my brother."He teased. He knew she couldn't exactly find him that way, but it was fun to tease her. It was in fact kinda sad that she could not keep up with her own boyfriend, or at least remember where he might be. How they ever hooked up was a complete mystery to the younger brother. He merely gave a smile and shrug to her."Well, He's too much of a goody goody to do anything bad, so you don't really need to worry about him. He should be back when he is either tired or hungry. Unless that is if Emma finds him." He joked, knowing Jean's loathing for the white witch. Alex was laughing softly as he made his way for those stairs which had nearly killed him earlier the other morning. He stepped down the first one and felt hardly any pain as he stretched a bit, and that was relief in itself.

What should they eat? Chinese? Italian? there were some pretty good places in town that would have catered to their culinary needs. But they were stuck in the campus for the time being. The thought of something good to eat made his stomach rumble. "I feel like eating Chinese. How about you?" He asked as he shifted a bit. "Care for me to make a few egg rolls and fried rice? or would you prefer I took you out to lunch?" He offered as he looked over his shoulder to his brother's girlfriend as he began to descend the stairs. The thought of some hot Chinese food made his mouth water. He was feeling as if he were starving, that workout was the only thing that he could blame, or it was his powerful metabolism. He sure didn't lose sleep over it, all he knew is that he was hungry!

Mm? Richard was distracted by the sound of hollow footsteps down an adjacent hallway. Peering further into Morphine's room, he didn't see her at all in the dim vicinity, and decided she must have still been out. His black, duck-tailed hair bobbed to the left as he quickly popped his head out from the door and closed it behind him. He had to either find someone for the Danger Room group, or simply get there.
Closing his eyes, which quickly flickered colors beneath the pale eyelids as he used one of his powers, the Power Adapting mutant vanished from sight in a cloud of translucent, indigo, darkness. Whose to say that it was actually his power he was using? Well, it was permanent, and one of the powers he didn't have to replenish before their uses.

Reappearing before Jean and Alex, his eyes resting on Jean. One of his dark eyebrows arced towards the sky. -"Hi."- He saw that they were in the middle of a conversation. Maybe Jean wouldn't have remembered him. Or Alex, for that matter. It didn't matter; he was late to an appointment with the Danger Room, and if he was any more later than he already was, he might not have been able to get in.
Bowing, the arrow-ended, black, leathery tail sprouting from Richard's tail bone coiled up behind him, his yellow eyes with black-cat pupils rested on Alex, then slowly trailed over to Jean. His eyes widened as he remembered what her mutant abilities were, and offered an outstretched hand after removing his glove. -"Borrow?"- He questioned, wishing to borrow her power for the Danger Room trip. Hopefully, she would understand what he was asking of her.

"Your funny" she mused. She wrinkled her nose at Emma's name. She hated her, she really did not know why besides trying to kill them all. That was good enough wasn't? "If he is with her, fine. " she said through gritted teeth. Her anger flared. She followed him till her spoke. "As long as your a better cook then my mother was" she said with a soft giggle. The women was an okay cook, when your like ten. Over boiled veggies got tiring after a while. She had scored the jackpot when she met Scott. He cooked. Hot,smart, kick a** and he can cook. What more did a girl have to ask for? Answer: Nothing. With a capital N.

At first she thought she had been struck in the head, till she saw the smoke fade. "Richard" her mind had already picked through his brain. She raised an eye brow. "Fine, but do not over do it, it might put you in a come or kill you. I'd I prefer not to have to revive you, scene it would be my fault. Got It?" she warned before she touch his hand with a few fingers. Her mind moved through his brain once more. She wanted to know his story, she really didn't remember him, but soon found out. "Be Careful" it wasn't something she did all the time, but it seemed Kurt had passed along his power. She would trust her team mates judgment. Something went wrong she had two people to kill. Kurt, then if need be revive Richard and kill him too.

And in the end..

Alex gave her a smile and a nod of his head. "Yeah, I try." He replied with a shrug of his shoulders. If she were a cat, he would bet that the fur on the back of her neck would be standing on in. "Well, I may not be a Wolfgang puck, but I can cook pretty decently." He said as he defended himself. "So Jean, what are you-" Was about where he had gotten when the other mutant had poofed in front of them, asking Jean for her powers. He was glad it was not him being asked. He was not keen on the idea of sharing an unstable power like his with another. With a wave of relief washing over him, he had noticed that he had not known the others name, and had to rely on Jean for that bit of information.

"Danger room session today, Richard?" He asked curiously towards the man of few words. "Good luck in there. Aloha." He said with a smile and a wave of his hand. He had doing that more as of late. His raising in Hawaii had started to resurface, and it mostly effected his speech and mannerisms . Alex said as he continued down the stairs. "Meet me in the Kitchen when you're done here Jean." He said as he made his way towards the kitchen. While walking he had begun to whistle quietly to himself .

A genuine smile crossed his lips once more as he heard Jean grant him access to her powers. But, once he received the warning, his lips flattened into a straight line. He had forgotten that her powers were one of the most unstable in his possession. Hopefully, he wouldn't need anything more than just the telekinesis. Bare fingertips made contact, and his left eye jumped as the cells on his fingers adjusted themselves as if they were making way for some kind of microscopic organism to enter his body. The tingling sensation gradually augmented until it was felt throughout his entire nervous system.
A split second and he had absorbed a seventh of her power. His feet left the ground and the sleeves on his arms wriggled at his sides as he looked over at Alex. A smile crossed his lips, nodding in response to his question. -"Thanks,"- He replied, examining the plasmatic mutant with deep, brown eyes as he began to walk off from the two.
Looking over at the red-head before him, he bit his lower lip, looked down at her feet then closed his eyes. He let her pick through his brain. All of the repressed memories flowing through his mind. Events prior to his attendance at the Institute.
His father. His old school. His friends. His school nurse. His cousin and uncle who usually stopped by. A giant pile of rocks that he and his friends moved from one side of the field to the other only for greater space in recreation. A ransom note.
A ransom note.

His eyes widened, and he looked up at Jean, watching her eyes. Before she had the chance to read the makeshift note, though, he had vanished into another accumulation of clouds, headed towards the Danger Room.

As the noise of others died down with the coming of the next classes, Kuriigu chanced a glance in to the hallway, poking his head out to look around. As soon as he was sure that no one remained in the building, he ducked out of his room, closing the doorway and slipping quietly down the hallway with his shirt and scarf in hand. He was slipping his rings on, too, as he walked, and quickly buttoned his shirt as he approached a corner. Walking straight across the hallway towards a wall, he extended his hand and etched a small picture of a door in to it in charcoal, then began to analyze the components of the wall.

"Hm... it seems to be heavy, probably made of oak, and there are some brass tacks holding a poster up on the other side..." As he continued to mumble to himself, a picture began to form in his head of a large oaken door with a brass handle. After he was finished, he stepped back as the section of wall blurred, then reformed as the door that he had pictured. Stepping inside, he waved to the cook who, at his request, had left out a large burger, a latte, and a banana. This routine had happened almost daily since the arrival of Kuriigu and his 'brother' Mamoru, the two getting up at around noon to eat, when everyone else was supposed to be in class. He wasn't sure where Mamoru had gone off to today, but didn't bother worrying, as that would be tiresome. "Thank you, monsieur, that will be all for today. Have a wonderful afternoon."

As he ducked back through the door, which turned back in to the wall that it was previously, he began to sip on his latte. In between these sips he would pause to read the words of wisdom that were typed on to the paper around the cup--briefly, of course, but he would read them. Today's, however, made him pause. It read:

Do you not have somewhere else to be?

After thinking for a few seconds, he determined that he did, in fact, have somewhere else to be, and downed the rest of his latte, throwing the cup in the trash. He skillfully ate the banana, pocketed the peel, and began to drift off towards the Danger Room.
