So I work for a newspaper and went to a restraunt called Romano's with my co-workers last week. They tricked me! They said I needed to write a review to add to the story they're going to write. So I thought I'd share. Perhaps they'll like my writing and want me to start writing more. AND THEN I'LL DEMAND A RAISE! scream
Being the only one who ordered something other than a 3-inch thick stuffed pizza (but I had thought about it), waiting on everyone else's order was a little (JOY - What's the word I'm looking for?), but in retrospect I'm glad mine didn't come out before the rest of the table. I'm not a sports fan so I couldn't admire the fact that there was a great quality screen wherever I turned my head, but the sport fans that were at our table sure enjoyed it. My meal consisted of two large calzone-type thingies, filled with delicious mozzerella cheese, sausage, onions and bell peppers. It also came with a nice portion of marinera sauce which tasted amazing. I was only able to eat one so the other was packed in a box with TWO sides of marinera sauce to make sure I had enough when I decided to eat it later (which didn't lose it's amazing taste in the microwave). The option of ball park type food was definately interesting, probably a great thing for true fans who miss going to real games, and some of the original food names (a veggie sandwich is referred to a 'sissy' sandwich) were amusing. Perhaps not to a vegetarian. All the same, good place to have a nice meal with friends and almost guarantee you'll have a meal portion of food left over.

It sounds more like a blog than a review. This is due primarily to two large calzone-type thingies

XpyrodaemonX It sounds more like a blog than a review. This is due primarily to two large calzone-type thingies I'm not going to drive over there to find out the real name for it. That's the editor's job. She'll probably just reword it. I couldn't find the right word.

Hmm. Not sure what that word you want at the beginning is...can you name some words you were thinking of that aren't quite right?
All in all I like it, just a couple things:
I agree about the "thingies"
And marinara is spelled as such smile

You could just call them stuffed pizzas.

I'm looking for along the lines of sort of disappointed and irritated.
