Godar Dragons is set in a fantasy world mainly populated by humans and dragons. The dragons are rare and elusive, and are still recovering from a devastating plague that killed many, many dragons. Most of the humans, especially the villagers from Niffin, believe the dragons to be a myth, although there are Hill Folk that live in the deep mountains and know full well that the dragons exist.

There are currently two breeds of dragon in the shop, mountain dragons and northern dragons. The two breeds have lived in relative isolation since the plague, although as their populations have recovered, they have started to become aware of each other's existence. There is some tension between the two, for the northern dragons blame the mountain dragons for the plague.

Shop Rules.

1. Stay polite. This means no fighting, whining, and/or begging.Offensive or derogatory remarks may result in black listing. If someone is bothering you in the thread (or harassing you for shop related reasons), please PM the mule and we will do our best to take care of it promptly and fairly.

2. No art theft. Simple... don't edit the art used in this thread, claim any of the art as your own, or post it off-site unless you have our prior permission.

3. Pets may be given away, but not sold. If you want to give away one of your dragons, PM the mule.

4. No advertising. If it's in your sig, that's fine as long as you don't start hopping about, waving your arms, and going "Look at mah sig guyz!

5. Absolutely no refunds.

6. No mules. Oh, we don't mind if you post with them, but you can't use them for flatsales, games, customs, breeding, or anything where having two accounts gives you an unfair advantage.

How to Enter.
Since this event is to promote art theft awareness, I'm going to hold an art contest. To win the girl on the left, create a sculpture or drawing of a Godar Dragon, any dragon at all. But there's a catch: I'll be judging this on skill, creativity, and how unusual the materials you used are. Pennies, paperclips, lego pieces, coffee stains on paper... surprise me!

This contest starts now and ends July 16 @ midnight PST.

Rules.
1) Two dimensional or three dimensional art is equally acceptable, and you may use any material you want. If you do a sculpture, include an index card with your username on it in the picture.

2) The drawing/sculpture must represent a Godar Dragon, either mountain or northern.

3) Only use your own work. (Seriously. This event is to raise awareness of art theft, not promote it!)

4) Only one entry per person, no mules.

5) To spare anybody with a slow internet, if your image is larger than 500 x 500 pixels, use a link.

6) Should you win, you have 48 hours to claim your pet by posting the certing info here. After that, I'll rehome her at my discretion.

7) Have fun!
