::Camille.Ellemond.Moore:: Name:: With a French mother, Cajun background and a late, wealthy father, Camille received his name by combining his lineage with tradition. His mother was far into Camille’s pregnancy when one Elliot Moore was shot behind a bar on a warm Louisiana night. A misfire while admiring a handgun left Jeanne-Marie a widow with only her aged mother to help raise the now fatherless child. Upon his birth, the boy was named Camille after Jeanne’s late father as had been agreed between the couple regardless of the child’s sex, and Ellemond after Elliot. Cam of course took his father’s surname making his complete name; Camille Ellemond Moore Nicknames:: Doc, Cam, Moore and Mill (mostly because people butcher his name). Status:: Medic/Second Year Medical Student who dropped out once he was called to duty. Gender:: Male Birthdate:: September 13th, 1918 Age:: 26 Posts in:: Cadetblue Race/Ethnicity:: Human/Cajun/American Martial Status:: Cam was engaged to one Abigail Raines, however she was informed of his death and thus moved on. Crush:: None while sober. Best Friend:: Unkown. Eye Color:: Dark, green/brown. Hair Color:: Raven black and kept rather short. It would, if left to grow, curl into a spindly mane. Skin Tone:: Olive- Healthy peach, often sporting an even tan. Distinguishing Features~ Cam has a rather ordinary appearance. Markings~ Normally hidden from view, Cam has a Caducus tattoo on his right deltoid.

It was quite the confusing experience for Cam, the first time he was injured badly. He’s heard of tales from Grand Meme Mellette, of men recovering under her hand as she sucked the pain and ailments away. But it was a dim morning, fingers freezing in Bastonge as he fielded the front lines in search for his foxhole when the bullet went straight through his shoulder, blood spattering the snow in a macabre mockery of a child’s finger painting masterpiece. Sluggishly he crawled, bullets peppering the ice behind him as he rolled down a draw. Lazily he fell to darkness only to be woken by the cries for medic. On autopilot he jumped up and ran to do his job, not noticing the now mostly healed bullet wound. This was only a precursor to the indestructible man.
I. Accelerated Healing: -Blood: It would seem that this would be the fastest regenerating part of his body and he more than likely had this ability at birth. On average a normal, healthy individual who donates a unit of blood (about 450 ml or 1 pint) will fully recuperate from the blood loss in four to six weeks. The individual will loose the effects of blood loss in about a week. Cam, however, halves this time. Three days is all it takes for him to be top-notch again and less than two weeks for blood levels to return back to normal.
-Cuts and open wounds: Cam can and will get hurt, blood will be spilled but his seemingly endless supply of blood (see bullet above). However, unlike as seen in popular television, the skin does not merely knit back together cleanly. He does go though the normal platelet clot, scap and scar steps like any other person. Cam just goes through his quicker…Much quicker. He can have a scar up to several days if the wound is deep enough, but the clot to scab to scar won’t take longer than 30 minutes at most. -Broken Bones: These are a bit easier to heal from but will only fix if set correctly in their place. The bone mending is immediate however the area will remain tender for hours to days after. -Illness and Poison: Despite Camille’s absurd nature, sickness still affects him as it would any other human, though in most cases more strongly. This can be blamed on his overactive immune system or that he cannot keep memory cells or immunity in between deaths, so symptoms come hard and fast. However, his illness length is much shorter. Poison reacts as usual but hardly results in death.
II. Death as a Clean Slate -Reanimation: Death is possibly the quickest way for Cam to heal, in the matter of minutes he is back to normal as if nothing has ever happened. This of course erases good as well as bad. All his scars, wounds and tender areas may be gone but Immune System is sent back to day 1, do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars.
III. Regrowth -Enhanced Cellular Multiplication: Yes, anything on Cam can be grown back. However, the process is a difficult, slow and painful one.
IV. French.Creole.English -Language: Because of his lineage, Cam can speak French/Creole and English Fluently. He has also picked up a few German and Dutch words and sentences as well.

I. Camille is rather short in stature but strong faced and no where near twig like. He has healthy meat on his bones, defined into military muscle. However, he is not overly beefed up. Just enough to be healthy and never really exceeding youthful ‘I have only what I need to survive and climb trees’. II. Cam’s accelerated healing didn’t begin to outwardly kick in until he was in his late teens, early 20s. It kind of swept in at the tail end of puberty. Because of this will age very slowly but will appear no younger than an early adult. III. Camille served as a medic in WWII for the U.S Army. Because of this he will never let his hair grow too long will normally keep it swept above acceptable length. Also, he keeps his chin and cheek free of any scraggly facial hair, as he wants to appear sharp and ready.
Normal Attire: Camille was at his prime in the 40’s and as a Medic for the Army, because of this he doesn’t stray far from regiment approved greens and blues, large red cross on a weathered white arm band indicating his job. Casual clothing may include simple button down and slacks.

Well? See him in action? Foxhole. n. Definition: A hastily dug pit used for protection. Often times the best place for camaraderie. The rough dirt pressed uncomfortably into his back as one Camille Ellemond Roe found silent content in wrapping his friends injured hand with a makeshift bandage. A rare and small grin gripped his lips as his eyes flicked from wound to fellow soldier in modest mockery. Honestly, the guy had cut himself on his own bayonet while trying to release his fly for a leak. It wasn’t uncommon but it was still a scapegoat for occasional grins and muffled chuckles along the men. Gabe was from Louisiana just like him, a bit too far northwest for total like-mindedness but it was enough to build a small bond between the two.
“Why you have to keep grinnin’ like that for, Doc?” The other stuttered out in the cold, hand twitching from exposure and the kind fingers pressing into the shallow wound. His face was drawn into a tight line, worry frozen onto his features as he grit his teeth to the tender cold. “Not looking like much to smile at.” He pouted, large eyes focusing on the bright blue length of bed sheet.
“Watch line, Gabe.” Cam chuckled out as he finished tying off the cloth. “And try to keep that clean. I don’t have any penicillin should it come infected.” The Medic reached down to grab his discarded weapon before glancing over at the line.
“Yeah, sure.” Gabe muttered in a sarcastic tone. “Whatever you say, Doc.”
{More to come}
Likes: Music, wind, rain, laughter, French chocolate, books, worn hands, camaraderie, trust, the idea of a family, black coffee, singing, providing aid and cooking. Dislikes: Standing in a situation feeling completely helpless, oppression, entrapment, betrayal, death, regrowing a limb or nervecells, weapon fire, screaming, anguish, Mozart. Image Song: Elusive – Scott Matthews Lyrics: If it's true, I am doomed. What more is there to hold on to? // A strand of her hair is all I own. A gift to me, this sorry soul… Quote: "Sometimes even the best medicine has nothing on chocolate."

Tentative Act / Costuming:
Carnie: Camille could use his abilities to work as acting medic for the troupe.
Castmember: He can’t contortion, he can’t blow fire. In fact, he can’t do much except for live. Death is something that is unpleasant but he doesn’t exactly fear it. Camille could put on a show of daredevil acts at a smaller level, something to get the audience pumped before the real acts come into play. Or he could injure himself and show the audience how he heals, or how unfazed he is by a sword sticking out of his hand.
Headliner: Crazy acts such as outright shooting himself, cutting off limbs, drowning, anything to get his reanimation to kick into effect. He could, with help of others, create horrible disfigurements in the form of burns and scars, shoot himself and transform back to normal upon waking up.
