Just lettin' you all know, Freaj hasn't deserted you. I hath changed my name! To something a little nicer I think. "Lidaby" is a random nickname my little sister decided to give me a few years ago. Freaj was quite old, meaning... I haven't used that nickname (which was a typo of freak) for about 3 years.

The worst nickname I ever had was "Ren", which a friend of mine used to call me because she thought I reminded her of Ren, the scrawny psychotic chihuahua from the show "Ren and Stimpy" (which she was a big fan of). The vacuum cleaner got named "Okey-dokey one", letters were called "contations", presents were called "contations for settledaiden", flowers got called "bikyio"... And then she started saying "Lidaby! Adiby!" so I got called Lidaby and she got called Adiby. And then it kinda stuck. :S

Wow, that's pretty random. I can't even begin to figure out where she got contations for settledaiden from... Anway, Lidaby's not a bad name, but I kinda liked Freaj. Or maybe I just got used to it, so now it seems strange to call you something else. It was definitely unique. Ceribri I.. uh.. totally kidding there.. something like that.. xp Too late to tell me that now! I already blew countless hours on the Word Games forum just to raise 6k, so there's no turning back. Kind of brings me back to when I first joined Gaia, actually, since that's where I used to spend most of my time. But, god, when did GD become such a cesspool of junk threads. I thought that was what the Chatterbox was for.

I look in the Chatterbox now & then, and promptly run back out. gonk

Just 5k more to go! Hope no one actually claims the name before I get there... neutral I went to check out the Aquarium forum, but I couldn't figure out what this booty grab stuff was all about. Anyway, it looked like the kind of temporary forums Gaia puts up for Events, with a lot of people just bumping threads and whatnot. Maybe instead of renaming myself Hairy I should ask my 2 week old niece to come up with a name. I'm guessing it'll be something like "Waaah! Waaaah!!!"

RogueModron Maybe instead of renaming myself Hairy I should ask my 2 week old niece to come up with a name. I'm guessing it'll be something like "Waaah! Waaaah!!!" Considering that my best friend's five week old brother can only say a few things such as "mama" and "dada" .. (although watching him express delight is SO cute).. It should be interesting, whatever it is. biggrin

Hairy, you can have that 5k in no time flat with some proper BG in the really rich threads.
You look for tanks in sigs that either have glowing fish in them (click on Visit My Aquarium), or tanks that have the Booty Grab sign across them (click on the tank or on Play Now).
Collect falling coins for 60 seconds. You'll figure out the power-ups (blue) and power-downs (red) fast. Green coins are worth 2 gold, Blue are worth 3 gold.
Tanks with lots of Watermeats or mermaids are rich, high-trigger tanks. You'll get best gold & sometimes dropped items. Hermit Cats for your tank are most common, but other things fall too. Eirwyn got a Blue Giftbox a couple of days ago. You have to catch the dropped items to get them.
Try these for fast earnings since you won't want to play for hours:
Blue Gold Rain
Blue Gold Rain 2
Watermeats Galore! (5 or more Watermeats in a tank--and they give out ALL blue gold!)
Booty Boutique (6 excellent tanks to a page--helps with lag issues)
Booty Experiment (goes even farther--3 good tanks to a page or less).
