11-14-05Well, I'm back to Telrunya. I've had a harrowing time. I journeyed for so long in other worlds, and I thought I would never return to Telrunya, so much fun was I having with Saera and dear Sabriel...but of course, it didn't last. How could I think that it would? We were trekking up a dormant volcano which hadn't erupted in years, and sure enough, it erupted. It was such confusion, with all the noise and the burning lava. Sabriel and Saera couldn't fly away from the wreckage, and they both cried for help. I had to choose which I would save, and I had to choose Saera, because I owe her so much. Poor Sabriel, she is a creature of ice, and I had to watch as the fiery lava melted her beautiful form into nothingness. But I still have a picture of her to remember her by, the dear creature.
Saera told me I should return to Telrunya, my home, to recover from the trauma. Kyr told me more bluntly that it would be permanent.
Your thirst for exploration is quenched, it said. Well, I came back, and it was an exhausting trip. I came hoem to my lakeside cottage, and saw how much Telrunya has changed while I've been gone. There are so many new Pae'il, even a new race called Aion, and there are Elders younger than me! I feel so ancient. There was even a new Bar and Grill, which I visited. The drinks there are terrific, and so are Jazz and Hula Bob, the ones who run the joint.
I'm glad to be back.
