inspired by the magic of absynthe." That means it's not absinthe-scented perfume, it's perfume called
Absynthe that is inspired by absinthe. That said, you don't have to worry about smelling much like licorice.
xp Absinthe is flavored with
anise and a variety of wormwood - specifically Absinthe Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) - which related to tarragon. The less mysterious and more widely imbibed Jägermeister is also flavored with anise. The flavor from the anise seed is of course similar to the licorice root's flavor, but the anise and licorice plants are completely unrelated.
I'm curious as to what this perfume
actually smells like.
