Personality: Loud, abrasive, cranky, old fashioned, and kind.
Goals: A quick recovery and rehabilitation after major surgery so he can return to Silver Lune quickly.

Likes: Tools, machine parts, eel, tea, mixed beverages, sashimi, and mushrooms.
Dislikes: Trash, tomatoes, perfume, and flowers.
Backstory: Travis moved to Silver Lune thirty years back after visiting a friend who had been living there for some time. He founded Morgan's Appliances and Repairs soon after he moved in hopes of bringing the new technologies of the time to help make the lives of the farmers and residents there easier. Travis has always enjoyed tinkering around with machines and in his driven family he was considered lazy and lackadaisical. Because of that he often puts out a hard exterior and works much harder than it is necessary for him to do.
Thanks to all of the hard years of work and stress Travis developed an ulcer and bad knees. Trying to ignore the problems that would need serious corrective surgery in a larger hospital he only worstened his condition and has recently had to move into his brother's house while the medical treatment takes place. Now that he has become too ill to even stubbornly run his shop the Morgan family has sent Dahlia, their shy and shut in daughter, to take over the business before Travis would be forced to shut it down. For now, Travis is getting what could be a whole year's worth of surgeries and rehabilitation, but he trusts his niece to keep the business running until he is able to return next year.

Goals: Making it to the end of the year.

Likes: Dairy, Sweets, Butter-Cream Rose Candy, Amethyst, Stew, HQ Fruits and vegetables, machine scraps/junk, and Juices. Loves ???? (you'll have to find out yourself)
Dislikes: Most fish, Cooked Spinach, and Alcoholic Beverages.
Backstory: Dahlia Morgan is the niece and current worker at Morgan's Appliances and Repairs. Due to her uncle's poor health and the urging of her parents she has been sent from the city to manage the shop over the next year. Because of her talent with machines and logic of mechanics she has a good base of experience for the job, especially since she has always had a fascination with broken appliances. Though her uncle trusts her wholeheartedly there were concerns on whether she should be sent away to Silver Lune on her own.
Because Dahlia is a shy and slightly mousy girl she has lived with her parents her whole life, despite her age. In her prior job she worked in the back of a sewing a embroidery shop, mostly fixing the old machines because customers and moving needles made her extremely anxious. She did learn how to hand-sew so she's somewhat competent when it comes to using a needle. Her reasons for going out and getting that job on her own, however, are unknown to even her parents.
Unfortunately for Dahlia, she seemed the to be only right choice since her father has been busy managing the family department store and her mother was busy taking care of her uncle. For now she has set out for the town, promising to try and make it through the year without fail, despite her own inhibitions.
At a glance Dahlia can seem stony, short, and strange to others but with time her true side tends to shine. Though she likes to speak as briefly as possible with most people she enjoys friendly discussions with loved ones and enjoys showing kindness even though she finds such tokens of affection embarrassing. Often, Dahlia doesn't seem very helpful with her many one to two-worded responses, but she always gets her job done as quickly and as efficiently as possible and hates leaving things unfinished. Despite her rigidity she'll never hesitate to help someone who is truly in need.
In the end Dahlia's true nature is quirky and kind, though there always seems to be a lingering hint of shy embarassment. With only old memories of visits to her uncle's town however, it will be hard to uncover this softened side. The only question is whether she will find something to make her stay by the year's end.
