Just having a little fun with predicting teams wins/losses based off last season performance, this seasons schedule, draft picks potential impact and FA/Trade Pickups.
AFC North- Baltimore Ravens- 12-4 Pittsburgh Steelers- 12-4 Cincinnati Bengals- 8-8 Cleveland Browns- 5-11
AFC South- Tennessee Titans- 13-3 Indianapolis Colts- 12-4 Jacksonville Jaguars- 9-7 Houston Texans-8-8
AFC East- New England Patriots- 12-4 Miami Dolphins- 11-5 New York Jets- 8-8 Buffalo Bills- 7-9
AFC West- San Diego Chargers- 10-6 Denver Broncos- 8-8 Oakland Raiders- 6-10 Kansas City Chiefs- 3-13
NFC North- Minnesota Vikings- 10-6 Chicago Bears- 10-6 Green Bay Packers- 9-7 Detroit Lions- 3-13
NFC South- Atlanta Falcons- 11-5 Carolina Panthers- 9-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 9-7 New Orleans Saints- 8-8
NFC East- New York Giants- 13-3 Philadelphia Eagles- 13-3 Dallas Cowboys- 10-6 Washington Redskins- 9-7
NFC West- Arizona Cardinals- 10-6 San Francisco 49ers- 9-7 Seattle Seahawks- 8-8 St. Louis Rams- 7-9
Just remember, these standing are just my interpretation of each teams records throughout the season. I am going by a realistic optimism for each team. No favoritism is there. Or trust me, Giants would be at the 10-6 level as well along with the Patriots down near the bottom as well. I looked at the schedules for each individual team when I took those records into consideration. Let me know your thoughts please and what you would think each team/division or even the league would do.

Normally I wouldn't do a prediction so early, but I have thought about it. Though I won't have a solid, better prediction till pre-season is over, here is how I see it for next season.
AFC North- Pittsburgh Steelers- 12-4 (I don't think I've seen a defending Superbowl champion have as easy of a schedule as they do next season) Baltimore Ravens- 10-6 (Should still be a good, playoff potential year for the Ravens, but will Flacco suffer the sophmore slump?) Cleveland Browns- 8-8 (Eric Mangini should have a similar impact his first year in Cleveland that he had in NY. And either Quinn or Anderson will break through as the franchise QB they need.) Cincinnati Bengals- 4-12 (they have shown me nothing this off season that convinces me they will do better than last year. )
AFC South- Indianapolis Colts- 11-5 (It will be a rocky start without Tony Dungy, but the team will adjust without him.) Tennesss- 11-5 (They will make it tough for the Colts to win the division but the Titans will definately be in the playoff and division race) Houston Texans- 9-7 (This team is a sleeper that is ready to awaken and take the AFC playoffs by storm, if they can only play one complete season) Jacksonville Jaguars- 5-11 (All the problems they try to fix and none really seem to be the right answer in my eyes, Jack Del Rio is definately in the hot seat this year.
AFC East- Miami Dolphins- 11-5 (I don't think last season was a fluke, Bill Parcells will do enough to help this team stay on top of the East.) New England Patriots- 10-6 (Tom Brady will be rusty coming off his injury and a year out of the game, but they will finish strong and be in a position to get into the playoffs.) New York Jets- 7-9 (Could we see another Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco in Sanchez? Lets see what this team can do post Favre and Mangini) Buffalo Bills- 6-10 (Doomed for another year of mediocrity at best, maybe getting past the Jets for third in the division, but that's not much of a consalation prize.)
AFC West- San Diego Chargers- 10-6 (Should be another division title for Philip Rivers and the Chargers) Oakland Raiders- 7-9 (This team won't be as good as their record will indicate, but rather a sign of weaker divsion opponents.) Kansas City Chiefs- 5-11 (Herm Edwards is a good head coach, but why do I get the feeling his time in KC will be short lived.) Denver Broncos- 4-12 (Since Firing Mike Shannahan this team just seems to make one wrong turn after another, all topped off with the Jay Cutler fiasco. And now they have Kyle Orton as their QB? This will be ugly)
NFC North- Chicago Bears- 10-6 (Still sporting a strong Defense, and with Jay Cutler running a lack luster Offense, this could be what the Bears need to get back on top.) Green Bay Packers- 9-7 (The Packers had one of the best offenses last year under Aaron Rodgers, If they focused enough on fixing their D they might make a run for the playoffs.) Minnesota Vikings- 9-7 (Compared to the Bears, the Vikings this off season didn't go off with a bang, but with a wimper.) Detroit Lions- 3-13 (New direction, no Millen, and a couple of wins to make some in Detroit happy.)
NFC South- New Orleans Saints- 11-5 (Like the Packers, if they focused on improving their Defense to me a complimentry unit to their outstanding offense, they can reclaim the NFC South division.) Atlanta Falcons- 10-6 (Should be another good year for Matt Ryan and the Falcons, but not quite division champs yet.) Carolina Panthers- 7-9 (Since their playoff loss to Arizona, this team had more people jumping off that boat than the Titanic. This boat is sinking fast.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 5-11 (Still have some veterans to win some games, but with an umproven coaching staff and rookies, this teams will be going through some growing pains.)
NFC East- New York Giants- 12-4 (Whether they have Burres or not, this team should still be able to win the NFC East yet again.) Philadelphia Eagles- 10-6 (My faith in how much longer an injury prone McNabb can hold out is wearing thin, but this team still shows promise of a potential playoff run. Dallas Cowboys- 9-7 (So much talent yet so little direction, this will be the make or break season for Wade Phillips and Tony Romo in the Big D) Washington Redskins- 7-9 (Jim Zorn is a nice guy, but doesn't seem to have the edge needed to lead the Redskins back to the top of the East.)
NFC West- San Francisco 49ers- 10-6 (If Singletary can continue with how he ended his season last year, the Niners are ready to take back the Division.) Arizona Cardinals- 9-7 (Arizona never felt the hit of what it's like to be a Superbowl team, but worse is the track record the last few years, 4 of the last 5 teams that lost in the Superbowl in the last 5 years failed to make it back to the playoffs.) Seattle Seahawks- 7-9 (Time to see if Jim Mora jr. can recindle his coaching career after what started off as a promising one in Atlanta.) St. Louis Rams- 5-11 (Perhaps they are finally due to make a turn around, but they haven't shown me enough to warrent them last place in the NFC West yet again.)

japanese, got one little bug with your picks. do you really think that the NY Giants are gonna be really that good with that schedule and no competent backup for Jacobs and no true replacement for Burress? Defense is great, but it is in the middle of the pack along with Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore. So it would come down to offense. You think they have enough in the guns to go that good? Remember, they have a older O-Line now and they did give up a bunch of near sacks before Burress was gone and a bunch AFTER he was out. Well anyways, thought your overall was pretty decent.

You do bring up some very good points. I will admit of all the teams I have been keeping tabs on this off season the Giants is one I really haven't paid too much attention too. Some of my pics were based on facts that I have been reading and finding keeping up with some teams, other pics are just gut reactions.
btw, you ask if I think the Giants are "really going to be that good" with a 12-4 record I predicted, yet you predicted them to win the east with a 13-3 record. just thought I bring that to your attention mate.

Realisticly, I would put Philly at 11-5 with a schedule like that and the Giants at 10-6. Only because they will have to deal with the loss of their key players that helped get them where they were. But optimisitcally with their defense, they could pull of 13-3 and Philly would be the same. They are both very close nonetheless and most likely the best two teams in the league besides Pitt and Balt at the moment. Just was wondering why you had it like that is all. Remember, they lost Plax, lost Ward and replace Plax with a rookie- clone of him and nothing for Ward. Plust they did not fix their issue with the downplay and aging guard and center. O'Hara just seemed to fade away during the last half of the last two seasons. Just to let you know.

O'Hara just seemed to fade away during the last half of the last two seasons. Just to let you know. haha, well then talk to a trustworthy Giants source. Me! I've been monitoring them for years, and especially closely over the last season and offseason. Defensively, they are among the best. With their acquisitions and with Umenyiora coming back from injury, the Giants will have the best defensive line currently in the NFL. A rotation of Umenyiora, Tuck, Kiwanuka, Canty, Robbins, Cofield, Bernard, Alford, and Tollefson is both deep and great. As for linebacker, they are good. Well above average, but nothing great. Pierce is one of the smartest LBs in the NFL and orchestrates the entire defense well, but he's losing athleticism. Boley was a very good addition as a coverage LB, and Sintim was a steal at #45 who is a pass-rushing LB. Our secondary is the same. Good, but nothing epic. Webster, Ross, and Dockery are all good. We added two new CBs in the Draft, for depth. Kenny Phillips should be a beast at safety next year, and Johnson and Brown will round out the category. Offensively, the Giants are still pretty solid, backed by their rushing attack. Their offensive line is one of the best. Pass blocking is very good, and run blocking is great (probably the best in the NFL as a group). Snee, O'Hara, Diehl, Seubert, and McKenzie are all good, and Beatty was a steal at #60 in the Draft. The Giants still have one of the best running back rotations in the NFL. Jacobs is a rare guy with agility, size, and strength. Bradshaw is a proven guy that can take on the number two role. Andre Brown and Danny Ware will battle it out for the number three spot. Overall, they are still among the best in terms of rushing. Quarterback is fine. Eli Manning is a very good QB, and is coming off a Super Bowl MVP and a Pro Bowl trip. He is very successful, but could still improve his accuracy, especially in bad weather conditions (Meadowlands winds). Carr is a good option at backup. Which brings us to wide receiver. Yes, the loss of Plaxico Burress was crucial. He will probably never be replaced. He has strength, size, speed, and great hands. The ultimate red zone and deep threat. The loss of Toomer was also a negative. At #29, the Giants drafted Hakeem Nicks, who should progress very nicely. He has polished route-running skills, strength, and very good hands. He can also go up there and get the ball. He should be one of those rookies who can make an immediate impact. The Giants also drafted Ramses Barden in the third round. This 6'6'' 230 athlete should be a huge advantage, if he is coached and taught properly. Steve Smith is a very good slot receiver, and Hixon is good enough to be a starter on the flank. A solid group of receivers, but nothing that great. There is tons of potential, but they are a work in progress. The Giants probably could have traded for Edwards or Boldin, but chose a different path. Special teams is solid. Feagles is still a great positional punter. Kicking accuracy and kickoff distance needs work. Coverage is fine. And if Hixon is our returner, then that should be a huge plus. I might be biased, but I have the Giants going anywhere from 11-5 to 13-3. They will definitely make the playoffs, and will battle it out with the Eagles for the NFC East crown.

Good analysis Dude-Lap, so far we are basically in the same mindset on this. But like I said before, it depends on a lot of things for both our teams. Mainly health issues. Both Philly and the Giants NEED their star RB's to be healthy. Both are injury prone and still effective, but when healthy both are the beasts of the league for what they bring to the game. But tell me if you agree with me here. Both are gonna host the best battles for the lines in the entire league. Best D-Line in the league with the Giants and the Best O-Line in the league with Philly. That is what I believe. Let me know.

It happens to every QB at a point. And another reason he aint that bad, he's the one who led Panthers to MANY victories this last season. Plus he holds the record for longest throw in Superbowl History. He is amazingly taletned. And I quote on this from a Sports Center episode last year, Jake Delhomme looks to me like a young Eli Manning or Tom Brady. He isn't as bad as every pictures him to be. I like how with all these predictions, especially Veg's, the wins and loses columns are nowhere near equal. =o
Well, not that it matters I suppose. Just for fun. xD
I predict the Niners to go 19-0 because I'm a Niners fan and who doesn't want their team to win every game? Haha.

Itachi-Uchiha-Sama00 Your just saying that because you like the Cowboys. yeah, that is pretty self evident there. i am a philly fan and it is hard not to be homerish on it, but at the same time with the upgrades they have made including the likely impacts the sophmore class will have with philly, they most likely will be playing in the SB this year. only true threat overall besides the annual cinderella team is the giants. best o-line vs. best d-line. that is the fact on that.
