Overview: Touda is full of devilment, especially in his toddler/mononoke stage. There is very little that he respects, aside from himself, and he'll cheerfully get muddy footprints all over your paperwork just for laughs. While not everyone can see him when he's in his mononoke form, Gaia is full of strange beings and so he's more visible than he would be other places. His blunt observations are usually colored with witty cynicism and he's a terrible tease. He also bites and pretends to ignore you if you've insulted him, much like a cat. Coming from Dr. Crusoe, Touda is not aware that he has a human shape. He is not aware that he has vast powers sealed off beyond his reach. As far as Touda is concerned, he is the mononoke he appears to be.
Imagine his shock when he's summoned into human form, too young to really understand whats going on. Conflicting emotions war within him - frustration at learning a new body, confusion about who or what he really is, happiness to be able to look more like other children his age. His sense of mischief and his wry humor are still there, but theres a darkness lurking beneath the surface that leads him to be suspicious of people and sometimes causes him to act out and take dangerous risks. There are very few close friends in Touda's life and they suffer almost constant teasing and badgering. But balancing that out is a sweetness one wouldn't expect to find and a fierce and deep loyalty that drives him to protect those important to him no matter the cost.

Abilities: Touda is actually the most feared of the summon gods. He has the power to control the fires of hell. However in his human form he wears a gold band around his head which prevents his own powers from overwhelming him. As of yet, Touda is not aware of any of this. His abilities include: erecting barriers, projecting crescent shaped blades of energy; attacks with blasts of fire and a trident.

Name Origin: An ancient spice, the main ingredient in licorice. Known as a romantic name, since anise is fabled to be an aphrodisiac.

Overview: Anise is the perfect little lady, full of charm and spirit. She's demure and obedient and rather empty-headed. At least, when it suits her. Beneath those irresistable curls and big brown eyes lays the mind of a highly competent schemer. It's easy for her to see that with the right flirtatious smile and eyelashes that bat just so people will simply hand over to her anything that she wants.
The truth is, Anise really does want to be the lady she pretends she is. She wants to be coddled and protected. She wants to be doted on and rescued and sheltered and catered to. But she also has a stubborn streak a mild wide and a definite lack of patience, especially when faced with incompetence. If something is not being done right (ie, exactly how she thinks it should be done) Anise will let out a frustrated little sigh, stamp her foot and then go and do it herself. She will never truly be the damsel in distress that she pretends she is because she is far too capable of rescuing herself.
Every child needs a confidante, and for Anise it comes in the form of a doll she calls Tok. He is her best friend and she is never without him, despite her guardians protests about the "ratty old thing". Anise insists that Tok talks back to her, but children are just full of stories like that and nobody takes her seriously. Tok is the only one who is fully aware of just how manipulative and scheming she is capable of being. He's also the only one who knows about the deep ache of loneliness and unexplainable guilt that sometimes comes over her unbidden.

Abilities: Puppet Master - Anise has the ability to control the stuffed toy she calls Tok. He talks to her, though it is unknown wether he's sentient or just reflecting Anise's darker side. She also has the (currently inactive) ability to make him ginormous so she can ride him.

Overview: Charlie and Robbie grew up in a traditionally elitist and wealthy family. They are what is known as "old money" and along with their younger sister, Vienne, they run the family business. Vienne acts as the face of the company while Charlie and Robbie oversee most of the actual work. While their morals would be highly questionable to anyone aware of them, they come across as a pair of gentlemen rascals who are quite devoted to their family, it's business and it's money.
The Harte dynasty has it's fingers in many public pies, primarily import and export. But their real money comes from black-market pharmaceuticals of a questionable nature. They also secretly fund a research facility focused on the Solanum virus.

Anise and Touda are both cosplays from, respectively, Tales of the Abyss and Shounen Onmyoji.
